I hate to say I have never had a playa bowl before but so happy I had the chance to try one! Especially after a nice hike, this was the perfect superfood!
I couldn't decide what I wanted, but the employee gave me some good suggestions!
I ended up going with the Nutella the Nutelloco playa which was açaí and coconut base topped with blueberry flax granola, bananas, strawberries, coconut flakes, raw cocoa nibs and Nutella. It's huge! Definitely a meal in itself!
The employees were very friendly. Even with my indecisiveness. The place is pretty chic and relaxing with a nice electric fire place and plenty of seating.

Honestly I used to love it here. Seems to have gone down hill.. The other stores in the area are 10x better. If you can, drive the extra few miles.
Customer service sucks, seems like a bunch of teenagers running this place. Music is disgustingly explicit for a place thats supposed to be family friendly… I came here with my 4 year old and had to bring her outside to wait in the car with my husband due to the music. Im never bringing her back here. Not to mention every order I get half the bowl is missing and it looks like someone shook it before putting it in the bag. For $20 a bowl.. a joke.
The staff are so friendly, and the atmosphere makes me feel like I’m in Hawaii! There are fun games to play, and the store is always clean and well-kept.

I love Playa Bowls Newington! A few days ago I came in and Morgan was exceptionally nice and suggested a few items. I stuck with the classic Nutella bowl, as it always comes out beautifully. Definitely the best Playa around!
