This sushi place was one of my favorite. Recently the rolls are so huge that they always fall apart. They taste ok , but not sure why they make them so big. Also the seaweed is very chewy compared to other places. Not sure if it’s a new chef, but it’s definitely different.

I live just a few miles away and have for years and this was only my first visit -- we will definitely be back! It's an unassuming storefront in a strip mall near Stop & Shop, but step inside and it's a really welcoming, attractive spot. I took my kids for lunch and we all had great meals. The miso and mushroom soups were flavorful and light, and the salad my oldest son had looked great. I got a sashimi lunch box, and it was perfect. Chef's choice of 9 pieces of sashimi, plus seaweed salad, California roll, rice, 1 shumai and 2 dumplings (gyoza I think?). My son's sushi box had four pieces of sushi, again chef's choice. He was delighted that one was shrimp. My oldest son got the two-roll lunch special and devoured it. We also ordered a special roll to share, which was honestly way too much food -- we ended up taking some of that and several pieces of California roll home. My kids chose the special roll, so it was not as adventurous or spicy as I like, but it was nicely put together and tasty. They insisted on ending the meal with mochi, which was a three-piece order. The flavor options included salted caramel, which was delicious. The place was pretty full for a Monday lunch, and there was a steady take out business the whole time we were there. We will definitely be back for dinner sometime and this will likely become our new sushi takeout place.

Very lovely. Patient staff, very calm atmosphere, and very catering to a party of four. The food was super yummy at reasonable but justifiable prices. We went axe throwing up the street and this was a perfect post-meetup lunch. Will visit again soon!

So, we had a tough day on Friday. A lot of crying.., we went to California to balance the evening. And was worthy ? ? ! They even understood my desire to have just tuna sashimi, and they got one more client ❤️, my son, who was first-time. Very nice ?

I asked our server how long they were in this spot, and she said 16-17 years. Why haven't I seen this place before? I'm glad we found it! We started off with the pork gyoza. It could have been pan fried a little longer, but the filling was well seasoned. I had the tempura lunch box, and the veggies were nicely battered and fried. The shrimp was nice and crisp as well. It came with 2 gyoza and 1 shumai, California roll and seaweed salad. My son had the chicken katsu. It was cooked a little too long, which made you work harder to bite, but it was tasty which made up for it. Our server was very nice, and the timing of the food was on point. There's several other items on the menu we want to try, so we'll definitely be back!

The portions are large, the presentation of the dishes was simply excellent and the service as well. But, unfortunately, all good things ended there. The fish was not fresh and completely tasteless. Now I have a real fight with my husband for the toilet, because we started to feel nauseous 10 minutes after leaving the institution! Best restaurant for food poisoning! In addition, I discovered an incredible talent in myself. Throwing up farther than I can see
