South End Cafe and Pastry Shop

The food here is amazing. The atmosphere is amazing. The coffee is amazing. The workers are out of this world. I definitely recommend this place. You will leave satisfied try to BLT an amazing breakfast sandwich. I am grateful for a coffee place like this in the container hands-down the best coffee in this town.

Been going here since 1980 when they were on Franklin Ave in Hartford! Now, in Newington, and they're still killing it! Sfogliatelle, Italian cookies, pastries, bread/stuffed breads and pizza are all made right on the premises. So good!!

First time at this place and if it is for you it's like a breath of fresh air and makes your face light up the atmosphere and how friendly the staff is. The coffee and cinnamon roll was phenomenal super delicious. This place blew us away and will DEFINITELY be a regular place we go to when around the area we will be new regulars just like how anyone else who tries it I'm sure that would happen if you know good tasty stuff. This place I very much can tell because I have good instinct is OUT OF THIS WORLD!😁 It should have won the bakery contest they had on Wfsb but they were not nominated which is INSANE!! 💖

A one of a kind place where you can find friendly service and great food and coffee. everything i’ve had here has been wonderful, from pizzas to spinach pies, cannoli and the zeppolle are crazy good. my dog loves them too. Thank you for keeping this Sicilian tradition alive.

Great place. Go there with my wife for coffee and / or brkfst sandwiches. Pastries and cheese cakes are amazing. Pizza is wonderful. There's nothing bad to say about this place. I love it
