I stop at the wooden Tap in Newington frequently. The crew that works at this location is always friendly. The food is great. The bar staff knows me by name and what I like. I recently had a business meeting with a potential client.
Kayla was very attentive, always smiling. She was fast and friendly to all that sat at or near the bar.
The restaurant was very clean which is something I look for when I do fine out.
Justin the Bar Manager is very friendly. He is always discussing new product to customers especially new beers that have come in. You don't find people doing this in restaurants and that's the best way to increase sales. Awesome job in what this location does day in and day out.Love the consistency.

We ordered thru Door Dash. The food was nice a hot. We ordered salmon with asparagus and parm fries,French onion soup and dessert. Everything was excellent. Justin went over and beyond.

Food was good but did not really exceed my expectations. I shouldn't have ordered seafood since they're really not a seafood restaurant. Server didn't automatically refilled water. I had to ask for a refill. Atmosphere is always good here. I should've ordered my regular Thai wings.

We just had my daughters Bridal Shower at the Newington location and it went wonderfully. It went smoothly, they communicated well, and attended to all details perfectly. The food was fantastic. The service was so good and seamless that I was able to enjoy the shower without worrying about a single thing.

Me and a co-worker had lunch today and it was absolutely delicious I had to Blacken salmon with potatoes and vegetables and a drink OMG when we left both of our plates were clean the food was just that good we cleaned our plates I have been to other restaurants where I had left some food on the plate that I didn't want to eat I ate everything the waitresses and waiters was spot on the atmosphere was amazing and the price was great as well I enjoyed myself.

My friends and I traveled from New Jersey to pick up some car parts, we stopped at wood and tap to get a quick bite on our way home. Justin was our server and seriously was the best server we have experienced in our life!! He was the absolute best and plan on making a 3 hours trip back sometime soon just to have him as a server again and no we did not know him prior! Definitely recommend coming here and requested him as your server he knows how to make you feel welcomed and like you have been friends for years!!! Thank you again Justin if you see this!
