Wonderful food, friendly people, and a peaceful atmosphere.
We love it here!! The food is stellar, the service is perfect, and the atmosphere is relaxing. It's the most enjoyable restaurant in Monroe and one of my top 5 of all time. I'm already looking forward to another visit.

Based on the reviews, Jewel of Himalaya in Newtown, CT is a beautiful restaurant with a great owner and staff. The food is amazing and delicious, with excellent naan that is not too thick and tastes fresh. The chicken tiki masala is to die for, and the monos are also amazing. The restaurant has good ambience, a quiet and efficient service, and a great vibe. There is a very nice bar and a neighboring enchanting tea room also associated with the restaurant. While there has been some variance in experiences, the traffic has increased with positive press. The restaurant is a wonderful option for a nice meal, and dining in is recommended for the full Nepalese experience.
