Never been disappointed because i know what to order, always been a 10/10 ?
Make better menu choices before you leave your salty one-star bs reviews.

Great food. You can really taste the wok hei, it's not greasy or salty. That's why we only go here for Chinese food in Newtown.

This is a good Chinese restaurant. The staff is friendly. They have a variety of food options on the menu. There’s a takeout or eat in option. Overall it’s affordable and food is great.

Awful. My wife picked up food from New Wok today, our first time. Everything was severely overcooked (could barely pierce chicken with a fork). The supposedly non spicy sesame chicken was super spicy, littered with red peppers. The crispy walnut chicken and shrimp that states on the menu it's served in a creamy lemon sauce had NO sauce. Spear ribs had zero spear ribs flavor, the lo mein was bland and the scallion pancakes was burnt. Will not go back
I grew up on New Wok as a kid and now as an adult living in NYC for 7 years now, I get takeout New Wok anytime I’m back visiting family. It’s absolutely perfect. Delicious, fast, affordable. Staff has never been anything but kind and attentive. I tell everyone it’s the best Chinese I’ve ever had and I’ve been looking everywhere in the city for another place that matches the quality. They simply do it correctly with quality ingredients and consistent technique. It’s a gift to this small town and I implore anyone to get the sesame chicken, egg rolls, and wonton soup.

Greeted quickly, friendly attentive staff, food came very quickly, and all dishes were better than expected. The food had well developed flavor and cooked very well. Everything was light, not oily or heavy.

My daughter asked to go here and I agreed after my last bad experience here. I hoped for better but it did not disappoint in lettiforgettable.
The restaurant looks closed. Bar, closed. Dark in the back half of the place. 90% takeout orders.
The food was not good. Dumplings were bland at best. The Gen Tsos chicken was bland, cool, and forgetable. I took home the left overs and tossed them the same night. How can you not make a staple like Gen Tso's chicken or get it so wrong? My daughter's vegetarian food was better. Drinks? Soda, water, some juices.
The woman serving was sweet and I felt bad for her being in this place.
So, for the final time I can say I would not go back here until it changes chefs or owners. It is a shame as I truly hoped it would be better.

Take out order this past Sunday was very disappointing. We ordered crispy orange beef , general tso chicken, chicken fried rice & bbq spare ribs All were thrown out except the ribs The meat was so dry , no sauce & broccoli bitter & not steamed. I usually enjoy New Wok but won’t be wasting my money again.

The food was excellent! It is so hard to find a decent sit down Chinese restaurant. They are either take out only OR really fancy and expensive. Here was just right. I got General Tso chicken lunch in and it was delicious. Chicken was crispy and breaded and the sauce was excellent. Price was very reasonable. I do wish that there was a bit of soft music just to break up the silence. Service was also very good. We will be back!

The food is good however, I ordered my food extra spicy and it wasn't. They took it back and then returned with hot chili oil. The food needed salt. (Something I never asked for in a Chinese restaurant). When we got our tea they didn't bring sugar and when they brought the soup there were no noodles. The food was prepared well but you shouldn't have to ask for seasonings, sugar or noodles! The atmosphere was very pleasant.
Parking: Lots of parking.
