Favorite were the Cheese Plate and the Scottish Salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly, and presentation on all dishes was outstanding. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. The entire experience was very European, beautifully presented food, attention to detail. Service was timed perfectly.
Unfortunately, the aggressive service overshadowed our overall dining experience. The pros: Excellent cocktails and wines. Great apps: crab cakes, gem salad and short rib flatbread. Salmon, pork chop and tagliatelle were excellent entrees. The chicken was a bit salty and the cod was not so flavorful as the salmon. All food beautifully presented. The food was incredible. I'm vegan, so there is always one vegan entree on menu and it's always delicious. Our server, Ashley, was great, very attentive but not obtrusive at all. My husband enjoyed his food as well. I have never dined upstairs, and I never will again. It's a lovely room but next to kitchen. We were by ourselves for most of meal, then a party of eight was seated. It was nice to have company. We will go back again and again, but make sure we get table...
