There aren't many choices in this area, and with a show that night, we were lucky to have gotten a seat immediately (I think because we were early). The service was really being handled by a team and they were all very efficient - I was impressed. My wife and I both enjoyed our meals. I had the Sausage and Broccoli Rabe soup - very good. My blackened chicken sandwich was cooked perfectly and an ample portion. My wife enjoyed her French dip. The sweet potato fries seemed especially good.

Lindsey is the absolute best bartender. You wanna feel feel like a regular on your very first visit - she makes it happen. Singing all the songs making all the drinks. She is the best! We had an amazing night because of her! Thank you Lindsey!!

Dropped in for lunch on Sunday. They were not busy. The food was great, I ordered a Norfolk Pub Chicken Sandwich along with a house salad. The sandwich was to die for!! Unfortunately, it took a real long time to get a menu, a longer time to be able to order and even longer to be able to pay and get out of there. I would go back again, though.

My wife and I took a little site seeing tour around Norfolk area and needed to eat. The pub was the only place open and we are very happy we stayed! It sends misleading at first if you walk into the dining area because there's no guest area but don't worry, walk straight in and talk to a waitress or you can go to the far door into the bar. This place has great atmosphere and great food! I suggest making reservations in advance to get seated. We were lucky to get a table in the bar area. They also have a few outdoor tables if the weather's nice. I think we might go back another time and make an evening of it with the theater right next door! Great place.

what a great place! i’ve been coming here for a couple months now and have always have the best time. lindsey, is the best bartender i’ve ever had. Kassie, the server, is also great. Christian, is hands down my favorite “busser”. These guys all are a great team and make everyone feel welcome and happy. I love this place and highly recommend coming in for lunch or dinner, i’ve been for both and always leave happy. I definitely recommend if you do come, get one of Lindsey’s signature margaritas! five stars all the way!

Ordered a blackened chicken sandwich, received a grilled chicken sandwich with remoulade sauce. The sauce was good, but it certainly wasn't a "blackened" chicken. I put more spice on my regular grilled chicken at home. The waitress said "that's how she cooks it". Also, the bottom bun was thin and soggy, and why do restaurants give you a big piece of lettuce with the huge vein going down the middle? I'd be ashamed of serving that at my house.
The waitress was doing a good job at serving the tables and the barroom, so I'll give her credit for that.
Would've been nice if it was "sorry, we'll give you a beer on the house" or something.

We love to have dinner at The Norfolk Pub. Went before a show at Infinity Hall. Place was packed and hopping with pre-show folks, however the service was timely & outstanding. They have a well trained and excellent service staff who work together as a well oiled team, with outstanding food. Kudos to the owner Heidi for keeping things rolling @ The Norfolk Pub. Also a shout out to our server Matt, great guy. We look forward to our next visit to The Norfolk Pub!
