It took a long time to get our order, it was very busy.. The building was hot. Either the air conditioner was broken or they didn't have one or use it.. They made the bagels on location, so they were very fresh. The best bagels i have had in a long time and a lot of varieties.
One thing i did notice is that one of the male workers (i think he was a cook) was grabbing the bagels with his bare hands. They could have been clean or just washed, but i saw him do it two different times. The others workers were either using plastic gloves or the tissue paper to grab them.

I just left this place 10 minutes ago and couldn't wait to do a review.
What a awful experience, walked in girl was rude, didn't say can I help you, actually said what is it that you want.
Team was yelling at each other because they are 30 minutes from closing, one telling the other what they will & won't do.
Had to send my sandwich back, I asked for a very well cooked egg white on my sandwich, it was wet, runny looking & in so my broken pieces it wasn't staying in the sandwich.
While I waited for my new sandwich to come out a lined formed with 5 ppl & the guy said hey you have a line out here, when she got to the register I heard her say ohh you got to be kidding me, great
They are young, rude, just want to get out of there & it definitely comes across at this establishment.
I won't be going back at all..., not even for a drink.
Another customer in line said oh I no the owner I'm messaging him now, I said I wish I knew him because I would tell him his young crew today absolutely no good for business.

A hot cup of coffee and a good breakfast always jump starts my day. I was let down today😔.
I waited 15min for a cold cup of coffee and a un toasted bagel with barely any cream cheese on it. Highly disappointed and I’ve been a repeat customer for years smh!!!

Absolute worst service. I waited for a half an hour for my order and watched an employee have her friends order done almost immediately after they got there. High school kids who don’t care, unless you have time to kill don’t go here.
It took almost half an hour to get 3 sandwiches but I watched an employee ask her friends what order number they were, several orders after mine, and they both got their orders In mere minutes. The food is good but if you’re busy don’t screw customers that have been waiting.

The Bagelicious experience is similar to getting a good pie on Wooster Street, sometimes you have to wait in a long line, but the product is well worth it.
I’ve been a steady walk-in customer twice-a-week since they opened their North Haven location a few years ago.
IMO their bagels are the best in the Greater New Haven area only rivaled by their Cheshire location, Shef’s in Cheshire, and Olmo in New Haven, which is why they have so many repeat customers like me.
Sometimes the lines move slowly which are often attributed to some very picky customers in front of me who place complex hard to fill sandwich and drink orders like they are in S***Bucks, and other customers that want to order 2 dozen bagels and pick them out 1 at a time like they are going to eat every single one of them. I consider it a very good day if I don’t get behind one of these picky customers.
I’ve always found all of the staff, and the owner, to be extremely helpful and friendly.

Good food but the drive thru line takes soo long, every single time.
Bagels are always fresh and love the cream cheese - the jalapeño cheddar with the jalapeño cream cheese is my go to order.
However as others have said - the wait for both placing your order and the receiving it is just an insane amount of time - both at the drive thru and in the store. How it take so long really boggles the mind.

An inconsistent make your own hours shop that is closed half the time. If you do happen to go in the rare chance they are open its at least a 15-20 minute wait for 1 bagel. Be prepared for it to be closed at 11am and wait 1 hour for 3 bagels. Place is dated and needs a lot of rehab I thought I time traveled to the 1970s.
