Bistro Latino Wine & Bar

From the moment we stepped foot in the door we felt cared for. The owner (the host) was lovely. You could feel her love and enthusiasm. Our seats by the window was great, music selection was on point too!! The waitress/bartender was very attentive and funny. We enjoyed our date night . Oh the food was great!!!!! It was light and so flavorful! Can’t wait to go back.

The Latin Steak Frites came out looking nothing like the previous pictures posted by other reviews ( see picture). I ordered medium rare, came out well done. The waiter was very courteous and got me another steak which was cooked to medium rare. However the meat was tough and bland, possibly a low quality cut. They put some dressing on it which tasted like salted vegetable oil. This was one of the worst stakes I ever had.

Beautiful presentation, pleasant service and delightful food. The yuca with ají and salmon dish I ordered were spectacular. The fried yuca was crispy, the fish was cooked just right. Their desserts are made in-house. Parking is convenient. I highly recommend this neighborhood treasure.

A true hidden gem!!!! The steak frites were to die for!!! The drinks were great and the staff were so nice and made sure we had a great experience. Definitely will be coming back! Don’t walk here, RUN!!!! ??‍♀️?‍♂️

Me and my god mother wanted to try something new and they did not disappoint! The ambiance is everything! And we had the pleasure of being served by the owner Shirley who was a delight and super friendly. The food was delicious and everything was seasoned to perfection. The mango mojito reminded me of the mojitos in Puerto Rico. Perfecto! We will be back! ❤️

What a hidden gem for Latin fusion in CT!! Food was amazing and service was on point. The nachos were so good as was the papas bravas and all our entrees. Will be back many times!! Love being able to have an aperol spritz before my meal like I'm in Europe ??

Good service, small place but cute. Plenty of parking. Food was okay, nothing outstanding and overpriced for what it was. Drinking water tasted like bleach. We went for the TikTok hype and left disappointed.

I went here for a brunch on a Saturday. Baby friendly ( they have high chairs) . The chimichurri sauce here was the best I've had. It's blended well, and not oily looking. Steak had that fire grill taste, super tendered and flavorful . Homefries had some sort of orange sauce on it (yum!!!) Prices were not bad especially for the quality of food they provided. The Tres Leche cake is baked at the bistro. The only thing I would say drinks are standard nothing exciting, but nothing bad about them as well. Definitely will be visiting here again.

It was my first time coming here after my mom talked to highly about this place. She was not wrong! The waitress was super sweet as well as everyone else who worked there. I loved the music they played! We got two apps, an entree to share & of course some dessert 10 out of 10! I’ll definitely be coming back & telling others about this place.
