I purchased a set of 4 tires online from BJ's and scheduled an appointment for 5/13/23 at 12pm. A little after 10am on 5/13, a representative from BJ's called to reschedule my appointment as they were short staffed (mentioned a death in the family). I rescheduled the appointment for 5/17/23 at 3pm. I arrived at the North Haven location at 2:50pm. Again they were short staffed but I was told my car would be next. At 5:05pm my car was finally taken in and placed on the lift. Around 5:30pm the store manager informs me that they only have 3 of the 4 tires so my car cannot be done. I asked him to search for another set of tires to fit my car but he was unable to locate a set of 4. I did receive a refund for my tires and finally left the store at 6:30pm. I wasted over 3 1/2 hours sitting in the tire shop, which resulted in additional time off from my job and no tires replaced. This store is clearly not organized and their store manager does not have a clue on how to deal with or prevent circumstances like this from occurring. This was one of the worst experiences and it needs to be addressed immediately. An "I'm sorry" doesn't cut it and will not retain customers.

Rewards have not been applied to purchases as stated within the credit agreement. After four calls and three months waiting the issue is still unresolved. Promises with no resolution. Scam? I am just asking for the money that is owed to me.

I recently had an accident and have a back issue. I went over to the front end and asked a man if someone could help me with the 5 gallon bottles of water I needed for work. This man proceeded to tell me how to lift a bottle of water...bend at your knees when you lift the bottle. Thankfully I was in a good mood so I didn't have him fired on the spot. I should have lifted the bottle and then sued the store for their lack of intelligent and disrespectful people they choose to hire. What a disgrace this employee was and I only hope the fool reads this so he learns you don't speak to others this way and when you work in customer service, you better be prepared to assist others. Get a new job in a closet! I've been a long time customer of BJs wholesale and will not return to this store again. Hope corporate takes a look here too...your name and reputation is being destroyed. Best to all who choose this store.

Wouldn’t recommend. They had one register open on a Friday evening and expected all the customers with big orders to sit and wait to be rung out on one register. All awhile all self checkouts are open with barely anyone using it. Instead of bothering customers about self check out, maybe have your employees hop on a register themselves instead of counting groceries at self check out. Makes no sense ! But instead of the employee helping the situation or maybe getting on a register herself, she proceeds to talk to another employee at the front end while there’s a long line.

If I can give it no stars I will. Mariah was very RUDEEEEE ! First off there's only one line open on a Friday evening, ONE LINE ! So we decided to go to self check out since all the lanes were open. First there was an African american man who called her over to us to tell us we had more than 20 items. He could've told us that himself instead of having her do it. And when she came over she was very rude telling us we had more than twenty items. But they have one lane open who's line was long and filled with people. Instead of letting us just go, she's like "well I'm just telling you guys". Instead of counting our items and being at self check out walking around doing nothing, MARIAH should've hopped her a** on a register herself to help the line. Will never be back and I will continue to leave bad reviews every chance I get !

Just had surgery and am totally immobile, placed same day delivery order online at BJ's.com. Received a confirmation that order would be delivered by 7pm. Called the store at about 745 to check on order. After about 15 minutes and being transferred I was informed they don't handle those orders at the store and given a toll free number to call. I called and went through a ridiculous phone tree to be transferred to a representative that could help. Was transferred to a message that said they were closed. Called store back and got NO HELP. Went back online and saw my order was cancelled. Going to cancel my membership.

Love shopping at BJs, hope food sample stations come back soon. Sadly, when it comes to loading digital coupons on to card using the website, out of the four stores I shop at, BJs is the slowest annoying website. Fasting to just cut coupons from the pamphlets

Hats off to Colin who helped out with my flat tire. Had just pulled into my driveway and could hear the air coming out. Called ahead to see if they were still open and fortunately, they were. Drove over and Colin took care of the flat. Really pleased. Thanks!

worst BJs ever! They always have 1 cashier on and even though numerous people standing around rarely open any more registers. do yourself a favor and take the trip to Wallingford

The girl that was directing traffic to the registers was absolutely ridiculous. I felt like a 5 year old kid. I think people are quite capable of standing in line by themselves. The store is not organized very nicely it seems like everything is all over the place. I am speaking of the North Haven store only. The Wallingford store is so much nicer. I will not be back to the North Haven one again.

Love love love the curbside pickup during these tones. Ordered an item that was damaged and was able to repackage the large shelves and return. Unfortunately when I re-ordered and got it home it was the same one that I returned (I had marked pole with permanent marker). Back to BJ's I go. Customer service rep was able to open a new box and provide me with damaged item immediately. They also carry a variety of items I can choose from at any given time.

Absolute worst customer service. We had an appointment for tires at 9:30. While we were taken right away, the tech has been interrupted over a dozen times so far for propane refills, walk in customers, and phone calls. We notified management to which their response (over a walkie talkie!) was to "tell the member to be patient". No. Vehicle repair is not something that should be interrupted. Mistakes can be made and safety should come first. I feel bad for the tech because you can tell he's stressed. Whoever the manager is should have come to meet us and helped his employee!
