I’m being generous with the second star because at least they were nice. I waited half hour for one wrap…. Don’t go on a lunch break, and all that waiting for the smallest wrap I have ever purchased. Ever. I was disappointed the second it was placed in my hand. First and last time.

One of my colleagues and I entered Carbone's Deli on 8/16/22 to grab lunch. Upon ordering and waiting for it to be completed, we were asked to pay for our food in advance. This is after watching someone else pay after their food was prepared. Additionally, my $8 steak wrap was very, very light on the meat. So not only did I feel unwelcome, I felt gyped. I'm never ever going to spend another cent in this establishment or refer anyone!

Aside from it being insanely quiet for the lunch rush time, when I walked in the employee who was sitting at a table with other people got up and went in back to prepare my sandwich without washing his hands and putting on gloves. I found this very disgusting for a place that is preparing food, considering he had just been in the front of house sitting with people. He prepared my food as if I was inconveniencing his day. Needless to say I tossed the sandwich in the trash and went and found a different deli.
