I will definitely be coming back! I ordered some sushi for takeout but didn't time it right, so I ended up eating while driving. It was so good still! Even though I was stressed trying to get back from lunch, I fully enjoyed it! I got the eel and cucumber sushi. I will definitely be back to eat in house and I'm bringing my family with me!
Formosa is the best restaurant in North Haven and the best Asian food within 40 minute mile radius. All of their dishes we tried have been excellent especially the General Tso Chicken, Honey Walnut Shrimp, lo mein, pork fired rice, beef dishes, and sushi. Most importantly they prepare proper fried rice. It has taken a long time to find good fried rice in the New Haven county but here it's fried it has egg and lots of veggies and is perfect it's not the dyed yellow kind...
Very well kept and welcoming place. They serve generous meals and for affordable rates. I loved the menu very much and the waiters were super welcoming and informative. I recommend this place.
