Tonight I ordered a sandwich and ice cream through Uber Eats. The driver picked up my order and after some time sent me a message telling me his car broke down. He said he could deliver it but it would be late. Not sure how that works with ice cream. After attempting to contact uber for a replacement order with no success my order finally arrived a half hour later … only my melted ice cream - no sandwich. Tonight I picked up over $30 worth of ice cream for my family. Initially I didn’t want to drive so placed an order through Uber Eats, it was cancelled twice. We have picked up ice cream from this location before and haven’t had the best experience but always try to give people a few chances in case it was just a bad night. Friendly's is a popular restaurant with great service and a wide variety of dishes. The restaurant is very kid-friendly, providing coloring pages and kids' menus. Additionally, they have easy-to-find parking spots and ramps leading to the entrance, making it wheelchair accessible. While they don't have vegetarian options, they have no dietary restrictions and offer free parking. The food was okay, but some meals, like the chicken sandwich, were burnt or not good. The ice cream tasted almost stale, not creamy and smooth. Surfaces are worn and the floor was in need of cleaning. Waitstaff took a while to come and take orders and cash out. Some customers felt the prices were way out of hand. Restoring/updating the facility would go a long way towards an improved experience. Overall, it did not measure up to expectations.
