My family and I have been going here for many years and seems that just lately Friendly's became just another fast food restaurant. Let me explain. I remember when the people working there knew your face sometimes even your favorite meal or ice-cream. Now they sit you down very small talk and it seams like they can't keep there employees. Everytime we go there's a new person there. And don't get me started on the prices it's way out of hand.
Had not had Friendlys in years so I went in to get food and ice cream. My gf's chicken sanwich was horrible. The chicken was burnt, the bun was cold and the rest of it was just not good. My melt was alright but deffinitely could have been way better. Even the ice cream tasted almost stale, not creamy and smooth. The waitress also took a while to come take the order and cash us out. Maybe it was an off night but it was not the way I remember it from years ago.
This was a nostalgia pick for me and, to that end, I liked re-visiting a place I grew up with but this restaurant is in sore need of updating. Surfaces are worn and the floor was in need of cleaning. The waitress sat us at a dirty table but, to her credit, realized it and had us wait a moment while she wiped it down. I appreciated this but did not like sitting at a wet table.
The food was okay and the waitress was nice enough but they did get my son's order...
