Island Cho is a hidden gem serving up incredible Jamaican and Trinidadian cuisine. Get ready for a flavor explosion!Their Jamaican deluxe beef patty is a must-try. It's not your average patty - there's a delicious twist that will have you wanting more. And the curry goat? Tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Every bite is a celebration of Caribbean spices. The warm atmosphere at Island Cho adds to the entire experience. The decor is inviting, and the owner is an absolute delight. They clearly take pride in their food and their customers. If you're looking for a taste of the Caribbean that will tantalize your taste buds, look no further than Island Cho. You won't be disappointed!

They have a lot of vegan friendly options here (spinach, Chickpeas & potato, chickpea fitters, pumpkin etc). All the vegan options were really tasty. I would definitely go back. The vegan options aren’t labeled on the menu :( so you’ll have to confirm when you come in but the owners are really nice and more than willing to point things out to make sure everyone is able to eat.

I had the vegetable dumplings and the Paratha vegetable roti, so was delicious! Your food is prepared to order and worth the wait. So relay and enjoy your meal.Vegetarian options: Ingredients are included in the menu description. Ask if you would like something altered to meet dietary needs.

The atmosphere is truly homey , the staff is super friendly, and the food is absolutely authentic, delicious, & made with a ton of love. I had the opportunity to travel to Jamaica over the holidays and I LOVE the country, the food, the people, absolutely everything. This food was AMAZING. I will highly recommend Island Cho Restaurant to all my loved ones.

I waited for a takeout order that they said on the phone would be 20 minutes. I ended up waiting an hour and the food was trash!!!! Do not read the reviews thinking you are going to get a good experience. I made that mistake!!!Read the owners comments to me about them completely disregarding after they told me they were packaging the food and it would be 3 minutes. 3 minutes turned to 20 more minutes. I ask for my money back because I had some place to be and couldn’t wait longer. They ignored me. You are worrying about me asking for my money back and the way I behave. Why was your daughter running around your place of employment at 8:30 at night. That’s a you issue not a me issue. Do better. Like I said the food was trash I threw in the trash. Wasted my time and money.

We’re in love with Island Cho and its ability to bring the best authentic Caribbean cuisine to North Haven! Family/woman owned you can feel the love in all the dishes.Naturally, we wanted to try the things that aren’t readily offered anywhere else so we indulged in beef patty, shrimp, wrapped in plantains, curry, dishes, sushi - yes sushi, fried chicken, and all the amazing side dishes that complement the leading star of each plate. They do serve wine and beer, which if you’re like me, you always appreciate a good wine pairing with a local dish. The service is highly personal and great! If you’re looking for an intimate and tasty experience, stop reading and GO!
