The restaurant offers a menu that will accomodate any dietary preference. The portions are extraordinarily generous. The service is gracious and efficient. While we did not partake of their Happy Hour, the food menu for that is bargain filled with substantial appetizers that are shareable.

Fantastic! We had a wonderful experience as always. Waiter was very knowledgeable and attended to our needs!

We had lunch and it was very nice and very pleasant. The food was delicious although the fish was heavily breaded. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience.

I've been here before and would have said five stars - but they truly cut the portions in half while not changing the prices. Service was impressively slow despite not being crowded.

Yikes! I heard so much about this restaurant and it definitely did not deliver. Very pretty place. Empty bar on a Friday night probably because the services was the worst. Completely ignored. Spent a good amount on what we expected to be a nice dinner in the dining room. Food was just OK fair enough. But moved to the bar for an after dinner drink and got lukewarm warm coffee with no whip cream etc . Staff seems “ above it” or burnt out . Zero warmth or hospitality. I actually feel bad for the staff. Is it that bad of a place to work that they are miserable and take it out on the customers? I don’t normally take the time to write a review, but I don’t normally waste my time and money either. Not sure why there’s a general attitude of either distaste for the customers or the service industry or again it’s just a terrible culture to work in but as a customer not my job to figure out why it’s so unpleasant will never return. I hope I can prevent others from this experience.

Atmosphere was off, no music , the TVs by the Bar area were on but no sound neither. Service wasn’t bad , we were seated right away.Drinks and Food showed up to our table in a few minutes. Now let’s talk about the drinks and food :
White Sangria 10/10 : very well executed with the right amount of fruit , sweetness and alcohol. A very well balance drink.
Italian Sausage with Broccoli Rabe 8/10: excellent! Nice sausage crispy outside and very well cooked in the middle.
Tuna Tartare 6/10:very poor presentation, the tuna was seasoned with salt and lime juice or some acid which makes the impression of a fish ceviche , however the presentation with cucumber was not impressive at all.
As main entree I chose the Linguine Vongole which is one of my favorite Italian dishes. I’ll give to this one 8/10 . Very good flavor , white wine present and clams were fresh.
I’ll go back as the food was good , however the atmosphere is not the best as I said , I hope they can improve it.

Major miss on dinner last night 👎🏻 we both had to send our dinners back. Husbands pork chop was way over cooked, my risotto was so undercooked it was inedible. His new pork chop came out better but missing ingredients that the first one had! I got the smallest piece of salmon ever and it was raw!! $155!!!! Total waste.

Pricey but worth the money . Worth the trip from anywhere, food here is an experience in the way dining should be, the chef prepared food is an art form. Just awesome for fine dining.

Calamari dry. 50$ steak with mushroom sauce chewy and tough. served with potato chips. They were out of 2 appetizers i ordered. Cavatelli with broccoli rabe wasn't even diner quality.. Save your money. Truly Italian food for people who dont know better. In my opinion,. Very disappointing.

We were very disappointed in our first visit to La Lupa. We came for our 58th wedding anniversary; our waiter was uninterested in us and annoyed that we sent back the entrees because the potatoes were barely warm. He was on the verge of grumpy. The Veal Valostana was okay, but we ate only one of four scalloped stacks; brought them home but did not eat the leftovers. The restaurant was not crowded, but we were seated at a table next to the phone and silverware clanking throughout the meal. Probably will not return. Too bad.

My wife and I had a really good time eating outside on a Saturday night. Ambiance was nice, food was very good, and wait staff was friendly and attentive.

This was my first experience with La Lupa Ristorante. The food is absolutely delicious and 100 percent fresh. I live in Wallingford and don't know what took me so long to find this place. Also, the staff is wonderful! I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. ❤️
