La Lupa Ristorante

We have been dining at La Lupa for a few years and love it! The food is delicious, but what truly makes La Lupa special are the people. It is a friendly family atmosphere. From the owners, to the servers, bartenders, and bussers, everyone is so pleasant. We consistently leave with a smile on our face, which is pretty special.

Unfortunately the restaurant was severely understaffed. We were a party of eight which included two children. Our waitstaff person also had to be the bartender and make and serve drinks. There was one other waitstaff on duty who had to serve a private party in the other room. There was no bus person so our water glasses were never refilled. We had to wait 15 minutes for bread. Our server did her best but was overwhelmed. While leaving three hours later, we saw two more employees arrive.

We were seated in what looked like a private room so kind of isolated from the rest of the restaurant. Our waiter had very little personality and barely talked. We did go into the bar after dinner which was a better experience. The food was good, not great. This was our third visit there and while I would still go back, it wouldn't be my first or second choice.

Always loved this restaurant but this visit was a bit disappointing. Although, the shrimp cocktail was excellent - good portion size and very fresh. The octopus special and veal parm were good. My nephew cleaned his plate which was a very generous portion. My husband ordered lasagna which was mediocre. Very small portion and drowning in mozzarella. I ordered the special fusilli with tuna and shrimp. Was supposed to be a light tomato sauce. It had a lot of sauce and not a shrimp to be found. Menu noted 4 shrimp. The fusilli didn't look like any fusilli I have ever seen. My sister in law's cavatelli with broccoli rabe and sausage was very greasy. We ordered a pear salad to share. The portion was half the usual size. Maybe this was an off night (Sunday) at La Lupa. I will give it another try but not soon.

Always an amazing experience! Service and food choices are endless ....Always our go to for any type of celebraton or otherwise. Wait staff very attentitive... we will definitely be back!

Great food, impeccable service and very nice atmosphere. We have been going for years and we never had a bad meal. We love LaLupa 😍

Had a lovely lunch several of us had the 3 course all inclusive meal. The portions were a bit smaller however still larger than most dinners at other restaurants. I had the beet salad and my entree was sea bass and spinach. The dessert was tiramisu. Had leftovers to bring home.

Words cannot express how much I love the food, staff, and atmosphere at La Lupa! Arturo makes a point to say hello to all of his guests, and ensures that the meals are never anything less than amazing. The portions are enough for breakfast lunch and dinner, and fairly priced. Desert options are plentiful and mouthwatering.

First time here. The food was delicious! Battered Squash flowers. Prosciutto filled with ricotta & mango. The fried mooz with Prosciutto. Thicker cut Italian bread was better. The peppers with bread were too hot spices for me. The side salads are not good- explore a new presentation or eliminate them and add a green vegetable with entrees. My veal parm was delicious maybe a little less breading would even be better. So the culinary meal was 5 stars. The timing and coordination of the service team needs fine tuning- too many noticeable errors to our table and even worse the table next to us. Can't wait to go here again! If you havent- you need to go here too.

John Our Server Was Horrible
Food Was Late So It Was Cold,
So We Asked For To- Go Boxes....
We Asked For 2nd Drinks & Those Were Never Put In ....
He Forgot Our Bread But Served 2 Tables That came In After Us Their Bread....
He Said We Couldn't Have Pasta -Only Mashed Potatoes With All 3 Meals
& Oil & Vinegar Was Their Only Dressing.
He Also Forgot To Bring out A Meal.
We All Felt Very Uncomfortable As If We Were Being Looked Down Upon & Rushed Off....
We Heated Our Food The Next Day & I Will Say, It Was D'Licious & Portions Were Very Fair For The Prices....
Really Would've Preferred Enjoying It In Your Restaurant Though ....

This now one of my favorite. The portion of food for your money is so worth it. Anf the food is exceptionally delicious. Definitely 5☆

John, our waiter, tended to two other table that were seated after us. With full service and bread and drinks upon being seated. We waited patiently with no eye contact or apology from John. He took our order and drinks. My wife dinner came first and I had to wait for my dinner. Ten minutes later John showed up with my dinner and bread finally and no drinks. He apologize for forgetting our drinks. So we canceled the drinks ate and left. Good food but bad service. John needs more training Or a different job.
