Today I ordered an oat milk match latte. I could see she rang it in properly but it came out at a 2% milk regular latte. There was a 20 minute wait with 2-3 customers. She then seemed sassy when she made it incorrectly. This place is very hit and miss.

I don’t usually like to write anything negative but I felt that it was necessary to bring this to everyone’s attention. I was upset at how rude & disrespectful, the male owner was to his employees & female patrons. I was in on A Sunday and ordered an egg sandwich and asked if they had jalapeños the nice lady behind the counter said they do not have jalapeños, but they have cherry peppers. I said I would like to add that on my sandwich. the following Monday I was blindsided and berated by the male owner who said I had no right eating his personal stock of cherry peppers I was in shock. I was and kind of laughed and he looked at me like I had three heads and said you think this is funny? And went on to tell me that it was his private stock and I had no right eating those peppers. We Have not been back since. I refuse to support rude and bullying behavior. Also they give you an extra cup when you get coffee or tea so that you don’t burn your fingers however they charge you for that cup, but they don It’s hidden in their charge. Careful over there. This wasn’t the first time!

Tucked away in a small plaza on Washington is one of the best coffee shops in town. With a very sleek and spacious interior and a great selection of beans and syrups, there's an amazing amount of combinations to keep you coming back until you find *your* coffee. The staff is kind and friendly, which adds to an already great experience and I'd personally love to make this a routine to start my Sundays with my family.

Bruce and Elise, the owners are wonderful, kind, amazing people who help out the community SO much! The staff there- Josh, Wendy, Frank and Nick are all so friendly and great!! They have my order basically memorized unless I throw them a curveball when I walk in with a different order.
Oh! And all first responders/ military get their drink for free because they believe in supporting our men and women who protect and serve their community.
Parking: Shared parking lot among several businesses... lot can fill up during the height of the day, but there are more spaces in back behind the building
Kid-friendliness: No "kid" sizes for drinks per se but smalls aren't too big for a child in my opinion... and plenty of people bring their kids in!

I have always loved this place.. especially the moonrise special. This morning I asked the blonde lady at the register if they had received my mobile order because it had been awhile. She came out with it and said "you have to let someone know you're here.. we are not mind readers". How rude! I was floored because the guy who's always there is so nice.

This is the second time I’ve gone in here and the blonde woman behind the counter is so incredibly rude and unpleasant. Not to mention the coffee was terrible. It was as if we were a bother to be in there giving her our business. Will not be back.

The place is excellence within its craft locally. The Americano and a veg panimi are a new favorite combination of mine thanks to Josh. Phenomenal experience and great service.
I found this place last minute looking for a quick bite and coffee and they did not disappoint. Love the decor, cofee amazing and their buffalo chicken panini amazing.

The BEST local coffee shop located in the heart of North Haven, Connecticut! The entire staff is extremely friendly and treat me like family! From the minute you walk in the door, you are welcomed with a hello and Josh always remembers my order! He is extremely polite and professional. My favorite drink is the Ultimate Ice Coffee! The food and coffee is delicious and consistent. Highly recommended!

Last week I went to Moon Rise for the first time to meet a friend before starting our day. We quickly decided on our beverages & breakfast; as my friend was paying, I started to walk away but realized I almost left my muffin on the counter. I turned back to reach for my muffin only to have one of the employees behind the counter huff and puff at me that I was “holding up the line”. Said line contained 1 person that had only walked in a moment prior to this interaction.North Haven PD seems to like this spot, as there were several officers gathering that morning, so I had hopes that irritable employee’s comment was a one off happenstance and that this was indeed a nice place to go. But waiting for my coffee, I noticed several people and officers who had come in after me getting served their coffee first to the point I almost thought my order had been forgotten.I left that morning feeling that I was not wearing the right uniform to be a welcome customer to Moon Rise. While the coffee and muffin were fantastic, I won’t be coming back.
