As a former employee, I lost my appetite as soon as I took a closer look, but instead of being rude, I chose to stay when I was asked about my day- my first mistake The first sandwich artist was nice, but as I was deciding what I wanted, I saw the roast beef was completely dry, and all the other chicken bits were scarcely stocked while the cold cuts looked… wet. My sandwich is toasty and the nice person I had runs to the back while the other sandwich artist comes in with a completely different demeanor, like my being here is inconveniencing him. I have to repeat to him several times of what I want on my sandwich, and while I was talking, he turns around to spit whatever food he had OUT OF HIS MOUTH AND INTO THE GARBAGE. He didn’t hide it or anything, and had lil bits on his lips when coming back to ask me “what else for the third time.” I try to think about grabbing some cookies to treat myself after witnessing something that disgusting, and most of them were burnt. Not black burnt, but burnt in the way that it is not up to Subway standards but customers feel compelled to pay for since making fresh cookies takes so long.

Easily the worst subway experience I’ve ever had and I will not be going back to this one.

I am writing to express my frustration with my recent experience at your North Haven, CT (Washington Ave) location. I arrived at the store approximately an hour and a half before the posted closing time listed on both the Subway website and app, only to find the store completely closed. The lights were off, and an employee inside was mopping but did not acknowledge me or offer any explanation.

I had already placed and paid for my order through the Subway app, but since the store closed early, I was unable to pick it up or receive a refund. This lack of communication and disregard for advertised business hours is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the brand.

I ended up going to bed with no dinner since so much of my time had been wasted.

I hate this place, The workers. The food is disgusting, The store is atrocious and needs to be cleaned. To top it all off I tried to go again at 10pm. The lights were off and the store is closed while there was an employee just sitting on their phone. I knocked and they just walked to the back. Absolutely horrible and supposedly they close at 11pm.

Showed up at 11:48 on a Saturday. The doors were locked and the employees just looked at me and went in the back room. The sign on the door says they open at 10am Saturday. I guess they need to update the hours on Google and on the door.

I am writing this review to help the public understand not to go to this subway. After coming here all the time recently whoever is working here has decided not to show up and come out when you enter wanting to get a sandwich. I walked in and rung the bell several times, there are cameras on the inside and I know that the worker is in the back doing who knows what the heck. But he will not come out to make you a sandwich. Personally if I was his boss I would have already fired him because you are losing customers who are just leaving right out the door. When people come into subway they come because they are hungry and would like a sandwich made and pay for it. But I guess when you enter this subway you can wait all day long because the employee will not come out and make you a sandwich. So whoever the employee is that is working in this subway should just quit right now. I'll just go to Jersey Mike's. Thank you for doing your part in losing a customer and have a wonderful day.

Very poor experience at this location, hours on the door and online state open until 11 PM. I arrived at this establishment and the door was locked and the employee made a gesture that the store was closed. Very disappointed and would appreciate if the store hours are correctly posted.

Tell me why your hours say closes at 10 and I got there at 9:20 and you’re CLOSED. That’s 40 whole minutes before you shut down are we really that lazy? Just change your hours at this point. Plus it’s happened more than once

In my weekly visits over several weeks the same servers and manager were present. That is unlike most other sites. In turn this has consistently led to consistently high quality subs and service. Order correct and timely. Excellent job!!
