BEWARE! - We ordered delivery and the food was fine. However, when we woke up the next morning we had fraud alerts and multiple unauthorized charges on our card. We rarely use this card so to have this happen hours after using it to order for here is suspicious.

First I want to apologize In my several years of writing Google reviews I never skipped photos of the food but the food here was so amazingly good I just ate four servings of orange chicken! When I finally stopped I realized I ate everything before I took any pictures! Lol. I'm born and raised in Chicago and ate some of the most authentic and tasty Chinese food outside of China in our designated "China town" I have been up until now bitterly disappointed in all the Chinese restaurants in the entire state of Connecticut. The broccoli was tender and crisp and deliciously fresh. The orange chicken had REAL pieces of orange peel. Oh so slightly spicy but I don't eat anything spicy so most people would not have any issues with the spice level. It was simply PERFECT. The Crab Rangoon was the best I ever had and I have eaten in China town of both Chicago and San Francisco! This is the Only place I would even consider eating Chinese food in the entire state of Connecticut. I feed 3 hungry adults for $45 including tax and have some leftovers in the fridge for tomorrow.

This is a take out place. Great food, my husband loves the Chicken w cashews extra spicy which is always tasty. I'm a shrimp person and has never had a bad dish. Large selection of food to choose from. Online order is easy and you can pay at pick up. Friendly staff! Check them out, you will not be disappointed!

Place is underrated relative to google/yelp scores. I almost did not order due to the mediocre reviews but I'm glad that I did. While they have the typical American-Chinese cuisine, I was more interested in the authentic offerings such as the Sliced Beef in Szechuan Hot Chili Sauce and the Spicy Cumin Beef. The flavor was definitely authentic, portions generous, and far cheaper compared to the tier 1 CT chinese restaurants such as SHU and Gingko. Good value, especially for the authentic chinese dishes.

I found this North Haven Gem tucked back in a plaza on the side of the road so, I was nearby so I stopped in and I’m glad because the food is outstanding it’s different and distinctive to the others in better variety snd quality ingredients. We orders beef lo mein and the hibachi beef and shrimp it was delicious and value for the price. We will be back for authentic hunan and Cantonese hibachi variety.
Newer to the area and was looking was hoping to find a great little Chinese spot. Sunrise House is definitely that. Very friendly, fast service and the most important, Great Chinese Food!

Meh. Had the wonton soup and was hot but the wonton were cold inside. Also the general tso chicken, no long after I was in the bathroom every 20 min for the rest of the day into the night. Never ate there again.
