I got out of my medical tests at Yale-New Haven nearby and needed some lunch to take back to my hotel. This mostly takeout Chinese place (they have one table) has a typical menu. My scallops and shrimp with garlic sauce was pretty mild, but filling. Nothing to write home about, but trust me, I’ve had a lot worse elsewhere.
Best Chinese food in the area!

Delicious food, only downside was the kung pao had no chilies in it, but i just added in my own when i got home. Everything tasted great, I will be back.

Great food and service, with tons of options to choose from. The lunch combo platters are a really awesome value.

The food is decent for Chinese take out but the service is TRASH! I’ve had a delivery take close to an hour and then just had to squabble with the driver over his tip amount. I always tip but today I guess he found it insufficient. ALL GOOD! I absolutely won’t be ordering from here again.

I would never rate a Chinese food place higher than this because this is the best Chinese food you can get.

Pros: The boneless spare ribs were one of the best I've had from a Chinese restaurant in the area. The rice had more of a vegetable variety than others in the area.
Cons: The spring rolls are greasy and not filled well.
I'm going to have to try them again before I recommend them to the public.

For years I used to get take out from this restaurant- until new people purchased it ; first time I had to throw out my general tso’s chicken because the chicken was so rubbery. The other meal ordered was of the same quality. Figured it had to be just a bad day so stupidly I went back - was even worse. Had to throw out both meals. This time though the table area was not dirty- it was absolutely filthy. I was so shocked . The people working there were so nice that I was amazed they would let the place go. There was a UFO spotted by 2 of us on the floor - I am afraid to say what it looked like! I hope these new owners get a wake up call soon -sad situation.
Called for lunch special b4 3 o'clock to be rudely told lunch special was over, now I see what reviews mentioned, thank goodness for more restaurants in the area ?

BEWARE! - We ordered delivery and the food was fine. However, when we woke up the next morning we had fraud alerts and multiple unauthorized charges on our card. We rarely use this card so to have this happen hours after using it to order for here is suspicious.
First I want to apologize In my several years of writing Google reviews I never skipped photos of the food but the food here was so amazingly good I just ate four servings of orange chicken! When I finally stopped I realized I ate everything before I took any pictures! Lol. I'm born and raised in Chicago and ate some of the most authentic and tasty Chinese food outside of China in our designated "China town" I have been up until now bitterly disappointed in all the Chinese restaurants in the entire state of Connecticut. The broccoli was tender and crisp and deliciously fresh. The orange chicken had REAL pieces of orange peel. Oh so slightly spicy but I don't eat anything spicy so most people would not have any issues with the spice level. It was simply PERFECT. The Crab Rangoon was the best I ever had and I have eaten in China town of both Chicago and San Francisco! This is the Only place I would even consider eating Chinese food in the entire state of Connecticut. I feed 3 hungry adults for $45 including tax and have some leftovers in the fridge for tomorrow.

This food is an Gem hereIn our town of North Haven. They have American more authentic real Cantonese food selections which we like. The food delicious combined with very good portions at reasonable prices.

Service was fine but not friendly. The food was ok but the fried rice had a peculiar flavor. Probably won't go back.
