Where else can you go in Connecticut for an eclectic selection of absolute bangers from today’s top breweries? Christian and staff provide a pampered experience, going the extra mile to suggest custom recommendations and procure hard-to-find beers to go. Knowledgable. Friendly. Accommodating. Variety. Elite-level destination brewery. Cheers!

Fun atmosphere. Lots of beers on tap on rotation from different breweries (contract brewing on site). Prost!

I came here two weeks ago without realizing that the fat orange cat brewing, no longer had a storefront, but I was happily surprised by the presence of 12% beer project. This absolutely gorgeous place offers multiple breweries on tap from the area and combined with the out for seating and gorgeous indoor experience, makes for an awesome place to come and hang out my wife enjoyed the beer that she got, but I was also surprised to find out that a local soda place (Foxon Park) produces in bottles drinks and sells it in the area which was a nice treat. The bartenders were both super nice and brought a really cool energy to the place. If I’m ever in this area again, I will definitely check this place out again.

Twelve Percent Beer Project has an inviting atmosphere, a very pleasant and helpful staff and a constantly changing but always diverse and tasty selection of beers. I go there often with my friends and family and we all always enjoy our time there.

I called to ask a few questions about shipping beer. I spoke to Christian, and he was helpful and very friendly. Thanks, Christian, for a delightful conversation. I'm having a Tiramisu Midnight Snack, and it's EXCELLENT!

This review is a part of my quest of visiting all CT breweries. I visited Twelve Percent several times before and my experience was consistently high all the times. This is a contract brewery, so in fact it serves beers from multiple smaller brewers.

The brewery occupies a big separate building. It has a huge indoor space with no separation and a patio. There are multiple seating options inside the building including couches. No food is served, but the food trucks are usually onsite. They also have many different events in the brewery including rare ones like Homebrewer competition. The space might become a little crowded in the evening and you might encounter a limited seating.

The beers in this brewery are simply amazing. Everything I tried during my visits was exceptional. Plus I love Imperial stouts and not many breweries bother to brew them, but you can always find them here. It's hard to recommend anything specific as it is safe to just grab anything, but I particularly enjoyed Neil's French Toast Donut Stout (Imperial Stout) from Front Porch due to its rich and complex taste of a coffee donut. Beer flights are not served, but you can order a short pour of 6oz to try more beers.

I do recommend this place to anyone who loves good beer.

I was familiar with Twelve Percent as they distribute beer where we live but I had no idea they had a taproom. Great beer. Good service. Highly recommend.
