Gourmet Galley catered our dream wedding at the Rosecliff Mansion in Newport 3 weeks ago. Everything was amazing! Food, drinks, service – everything. Gourmet Galley eagerly incorporated all the personal touches we wanted, and worked wonderfully with the Preservation Society to make sure all their requirements were met. The bakery that Gourmet Galley works with (Zest Fresh Pastry) did a fantastic job with our wedding cake (red velvet in true 1920's style). Our guests raved...
Food was phenomenal, service was not.
There was no one “big” thing they did that ruined our day by any means. With that said, given the amount of awards and recognition they receive as well as the prices they charge, they made far too many mistakes.
Despite being “experts” at our venue, they struggled to be efficient in set up, dinner service, etc. Hindsight is 20/20, but now I’m noticing a lack of reviews on the Knot and Zola, &...
