I have been eyeing this bakery ever since I moved to Durham a couple years ago and frequently pass by it. This staff was friendly and we chatted about their origins and their tasty treats. They have a friendly family atmosphere . I bought a bunch of cookies to enjoy. They also will do cakes to order .

Just came from there!! And this place needs to be embraced a lot more!! This place is a hidden gem, recommended by a friend who is a foodie told me about it…and asking around everyone agreed that this place has the best lobster tails…I ordered one of each: ricotta, chantillí and regular custard. Also got a lava cake and lemon. Tried a little of everything and I really enjoyed the freshness and flaky taste of the lobster tails.Love it love it….ask if u don’t see what you looking for.

I was really excited to try their Napoleon cake so I ordered it for our work Christmas party. However I was very disappointed when i got it. It was not a napoleon cake, where there was no layers of cake like it should be. Not to mention the expensive price of 70$ for this 8 inch cake was not worth the price.

1st time getting a cake. 3 type chocolate bday cake it was excellent. Ty. Rosette powdered coookies were so good too. The lemon mouse c.pudf my friend will be eating it tomorrow she cant wait. Ty u again.from meriden....

Absolutely THE BEST Cannoli's.... We're from Chicago and our son lives, goes to school and plays hockey nearby. My daughter and I happened upon this cute little authentic bakery and am so glad we did! The owners are so cute, speaking Italian to each other and as kind as they can be! Their Tiramisu is delicious as well!! Definitely, make this a stop if you're in town.

The absolute BEST cannoli, lobster tails, and pastries...even better than Arthur Avenue! Everything is extremely fresh and the owners are very friendly. Take a ride, totally worth it!

Milani Bakery charged my wife and I $15 for (2) cannoli and (1) bottle of water. When I asked the woman behind the counter, she said ricotta cannoli were $5.99 each, and chocolate $4.99 each. ??? I replied, so my water cost $4.00? Seems a bit steep to me... Mozzicato's in Hartford charges $3.50 each, and they are top quality. She blamed her brother who was in the back, stating he didn't complete a previous transaction (doesn't make sense). She gave us $2 and change back, which is still too much. She was clearly flustered that we called her out. There are no prices posted, other than their coffees... I think she thought we were a couple of rubes and wouldn't know better. We watched as she charged the woman behind us $16 for tow cannolli... unbelievable. How do I know she's a rip-off artist? She just rings up the whole number as opposed to each individual item. The cigarette smoke which assaulted my nostrils when I walked (old guy smoking in the back while he was making pastries) in should have been my first warn ing sign.

The special creations will surprise and delight you with flavors and freshness you've never experienced. I thoroughly enjoy talking with the proprietor about the choices and asking her recommendations on choosing.
