My mom ordered a heart shaped cake for me and it wasn’t reinforced good it began sinking and was falling apart and the whole thing fell when cutting it open, they said that my mom never texted the reference picture of the cake when there’s the proof, my mom also received confirmation from the worker in front of her saying they received the message. She was promised that the cake would be half chocolate moose/ and half strawberry cake, instead we got a cake that was very dry with strawberry jam and none of the guest ate the cake, we had no choice but to throw the whole cake away. I took the cake because the party was going to begin soon. This cake was not worth the money that was paid for ($180), it looked as if they rushed doing this, looks nothing like the picture. Very upset!

Im very disappointed in the cannolis, which were very expensive . I was told they are making them fresh and the shell was hard and stale. I purchased a pre wrapped assortment and most of the cookies on the bottom were broken to pieces. The did enjoy the cookies.

They were so rude , not willing to take the order on the phone and go to check their emails !! Ps. The girl asked me to send a pic of the cake I wanted via the email. I did , then called , she was so RUDE, she said give the manger some time to see it , then will respond back. I haven't heard from them. lol. What a joke business...

Angela Mia is the real deal, an authentic Italian pastry shoppe owned and staffed by - guess who? - Italians!, since 1970, who make everything on the premises. When you walk in, your senses are treated to every kind of Italian pastries, cookies and cakes you could imagine, neatly stacked behind glistening glass shelves. Try finding someone to make you a chocolate mousse cheesecake on order, and your'e gonna be looking for a long time. True, The Cheesecake Factory makes them, but who wants their cheesecake to be made in a factory, lol, at exorbitant prices to boot. There are a number of reviewers who mention they weren't treated with respect by staff, and give a poor rating based on that. It's been my experience the way someone is treated may lead them to leave a poor rating, but has little to do with the quality of the food. I feel Angela Mia's overall rating is unfair because of this. Personally, I've never had any problems there. Nuff said.

I am 100% Italian and I've been shopping at Angela Mia's for over forty years. At Crristmas and other holidays I buy a bunch of their pastries for my big family gatherings. I just love their pastries! We all do! However, I'm in Florida now and I was craving something from their bakery. So, I called and orderd a few pounds of their cookies a week ago. I just received them today after one week.Oh boy, am I dissapointed!!! Nowhere half as good as I expected!!! Plus, my favorite cookie wasn't even included! Not even one! They told me I would get an assortment of all their cookies. But, that wasn't true! Plus, they're all soft and almost mushy! I am so very dissapointed I am beside myself.To top it off, instead of their store price of $16.50 a pound. I wasn't even told with shipping it cost me over $30.00 a pound!!! Definately not at all worth the wait!!! Chow!NOTE: The following is being posted the very next dayby: Michael:I just spoke to the lady in charge of Angela Mia's Bakery; Angela herself! Our conversation has re-established my relationship and faith in her bakery! The fact is: The reason for the lost quality in shipping my order was because the shipment took an extra two days to receive over the weekend! Plus Monday was a holiday. As it turns out, it was just a matter of sircumstances beyond her control! Angela graciously offered me a resolution to my order and a resolve to any future orders not withstanding weekends. Our conversation was pleasant and reasuring!By the way, I told her that today I re-baked the cookies at a low temp and they turned out near perfect!!! Thank you Angela Mia's!Arrivederci!

I have been coming to this place for easily five years with my daughter and we love the products. The staff if always welcoming, the location is clean and the prices are reasonable.
Secondly, the negative review left on this website by this individual Jay, is actually false and he is on a personal vendetta against the location, a smearing campaign aimed to causr harm because, guess what, he no longer works there (which he admitted in another review posted on Yelp. After being contacted and after an investigation of their own, Yelp removed his comments, but then this fellow commented again.And now he's here. He is clearly and intentionally pursuing a personal revenge, but what he doesn't realize is that now he is leaving evidence of harrassing and defaming a business.
I've dealt with such disgruntled employeed when I worked in the hotel business, who pouted as soon as they didn't get what they wanted, as well as with employees who, once they were let go, they'd decide to throw a tantrum. So I will show solidarity with local business owners and defend them, because I know how individuals like this operate. As a matter of fact I was just there today and left with some treats that I thoroghly enjoyed (and no, if the place was infested, I wouldn't expose my daughter to it)
Be aware of such persons. Best thing to do is to try those products yourself :)

My kid and I go occasionally to this cute spot to treat ourselves with some desserts and I'm telling you, this is a feast for your eyes: from the cool shop window display, to the colorful and diverse selection, I mean... talk about a respectable place! Even the shelves glass are spotless. And the cookies? Nom nom ! The really cool thing was that the owner, seeing my young one being curious about everything, gave us a little tour in the back of the shop, to show us how everything is run and done. We were allowed to watch the staff work for a few minutes, and it was awesome. We felt like we were in a Julia Child episode with a hint of Mr.Rogers (no offense to the owner, who's an older, sweet -pun intended- gentleman) We'll definitely come back again and we surely recommend this to anyone who wants to treat themselves to something good.
