Had to give 1 star. We had come here a couple times in the past and it was good. Not sure if there was a change in management or the chef. The food came out unusually fast. My husband order lomo saltado. It was lukewarm and not freshly made. I ordered the tacos (3). The pink hot sauce we asked for was spoiled and the green sauce that came with my tacos was on the verge of being spoiled. We happen to sit next to the window, where I could clearly see the kitchen. There was no chef or kitchen team. There was only the female server and a gentleman that was making drinks and running back and forth into the kitchen. What a disgusting disappointment. We will not be back.

It was a horrible experience, the food took a long time to arrive, the drinks were served in complete disarray, each plate of food had no flavor, it was disgusting and in the end everything was very expensive and they give you a meat with very few french fried and tinny salad. And they don't take credit cards, only cash, Venmo or Zelle.
If it were up to me I would give it zero stars.
In order the make a comment o have to give you 1 star

The owner Raul is an absolute treasure. You can taste and feel the passion he puts into the food, the atmosphere, and the service. Prices are surprisingly low for the freshness and quality. Highly recommend the empanadas and fish ceviche. 10 stars.

The food here is absolutely incredible!!! We had the chaufa mixto and pernil, both were flavorful and so delicious. The prices were also very reasonable and the portions were generous! Raul the chef is very kind and the service was great! Highly recommend this place!

We went for lunch, the food is not good, the lomo saltado didn’t taste like lomo saltado, the steak looked weird. The rice didn’t look or taste fresh. Unfortunately not a good experience.

This meal utterly exceeded my expectations. Everything I’ve tried from the menu was perfectly cooked, beautifully garnished, and served at the ideal temperature. The ambiance adds to this exquisite Peruvian-inspired experience, transporting you from South Norwalk to the heart of Peru. I highly recommend this upscale restaurant for its delicious cuisine, stunning and unique bar adorned with brick accents at every corner. A solid 10 out of 10.
