Food and experience were fantastic; the thing that felt off about the atsmosphere was seeing AI art on some of the walls, in and outside of the bathrooms, and on a promotional sign at the front of the resturant- outside of this, it was perfect
I've been excited to try Bar Bushido and have been looking forward to more sushi spots opening up in the area. The theming is a lot of fun, with unique art pieces and arcade games in the dining room. I got the Tekkadon which included various cuts of tuna, including different cuts of toro which I loved! My friend got the chicken sandwich which she also loved.
Bar Bushido is one of those places that earns your loyalty quietly. The drinks are thoughtfully built, not just poured. You can taste the intent behind them. The atmosphere does something specific. It pulls you into the feeling of Omoide Yokocho tucked into the backstreets of Shinjuku; intimate, a little moody, the kind of place that makes the outside world feel far away the moment you walk in. The food matches that same energy, whether you're leaning into the izakaya-style...
