This place was recommended to me by a close friend. Atmosphere was amazing, good music and great service! Food was exceptional! I enjoyed the chicken pimientos! Everything was beyond my expectations. But to make the night all worthwhile was the service! I had the pleasure of being taken care of by an experienced and knowledgeable waitress named Tatianna. She explained the menu very well and gave references to help better understand the quality and craftsmanship of each meal. Her knowledge of wine was very informative and quite impressive being that I’m a whisky guy! The glass of wine compliments the meal while the service enhanced the experience! 10 out of 10 !! Highly recommended !!

My husband and I recently dined at Barcelona Wine Bar in Norwalk, and while I’ll be honest—we weren’t initially thrilled with the food (about a 6/10 for us)—what truly made the night memorable was the amazing service and fantastic drinks.
Our server, Tatiana, was an absolute gem. From the moment we sat down, her bubbly personality and great energy completely shifted the vibe of our evening. She was not only attentive and kind, but she also had excellent recommendations that really hit the mark—especially when it came to the cocktails. Seriously, the drinks were top-tier!
Tatiana took the time to listen to what we liked and pointed us toward dishes and drinks that suited our taste so much better than what we initially ordered. It’s rare to come across someone who can turn a so-so dining experience into a fun and enjoyable night, but she truly did.
While the food didn’t completely wow us, the service and atmosphere—thanks to Tatiana—made it more than worth the visit. We’ll definitely be back for the drinks and the stellar hospitality!

The atmosphere was phenomenal and the service was great on a Saturday night. The bartenders were super nice, as were Yocelin and Ryan. The Jamon manchego croquets were phenomenal.
We had dinner here yesterday and got a real “chef’s experience”… just not in the way we expected.
Our table had a perfect view of where the food comes out from the kitchen. While we were waiting, we saw who we think was a chef (white coat, tattoos on his head hard to miss) casually helping himself to the fries from a finished plate not just a taste, but repeatedly grabbing them with his bare hands like it was his personal snack bowl.
A few minutes later, surprise surprise — that same plate landed on our table. So apparently our fries came pre-sampled by the chef. Didn’t know that was part of the dining experience!
Tasty food, but honestly didn’t appreciate the complimentary chef’s bites before it made it to us.
To be fair, our waitress was great and very attentive no complaints about that service at all.

I have enjoyed all the Barcelona locations in CT over the past 20 years, but the Norwalk location really stands out. Chef Christian Ortiz is a thoughtful, intelligent, and excellent Chef. Everything is consistent, perfectly seasoned, and perfectly executed. You can feel the love in his food. He is a talent that I wished I had in my 2 Michelin starred restaurants over the years. The cuisine is backed by a lovely and professional front of house and management team that makes every visit special and unique.
