Beautiful scene with amazing ambient lighting and music, the food was amazing I went with a group of 9, and even though I made a reservation days before they weren't ready for us when we got there, however staff was really nice and customer service was attentive.Restrooms were clean, decor was cute DJ had us doing a jig in our seats.Cons: with the time we went the restaurant was pretty empty and service was still pretty slow.

I enjoyed the ropa vieja appetizer with tostones and guacamole. Prices here are good and portions are extremely generous. The pollo Saltado entree was exceptional and enough for two people to share! Staff seemed nice and accommodating.

I stopped in here for lunch and had the Cazuela (fish stew). This is seriously amazing! Amazing flavorful and creamy broth, filled with clams and mussels and shrimp and octopus and I’m likely missing some, but so tasty!!!

Ate at Bistro 83 tonight before a concert a few doors down.First,let me say, our server was super sweet and the food was delicious! Had pupusas, husband had a beef dish and I ended up with rice, beans and tostones. All good. And the pineappletini was yummy as well. The restaurant was understaffed but things like that happen...we had to wait a little but we didn't mind.My only complaint- i am vegetarian and had read in another review that the restaurant had "great vegan options" so I was happy about that. I even confirmed with a staff member prior to making reservations (they told me to just ask for the vegan menu when I arrived). I asked and the server said nothing like that existed. (She even double checked). She said they had salads. Vegans and vegetarians want more than salads. So my one suggestion is to have a few plant based options for the weirdos.But all in all, we had a delicious meal, nice flavors, perfectly seasoned, reasonably priced, good portions. Would go back when we are in the area. For you meat eaters, the menu is extensive with lots of choices.
