wish partners was back this place is the worst. Bad service and help all around, never going back.

Excellent neighborhood restaurant combining the best of B.J. Ryan's & B.J. Ryan's BANC House with the former Partners Cafe. Their wait staff is excellent and will make you feel right at home and part of the family in no time. The pizza is recommended but they have other great items on the menu as well (French Onion soup is great if you want something light to tide you over, though I also love their pub burger). It will become your favorite East Norwalk spot in no time.Parking: They have a few spots outside around the restaurant but there is ample parking on the street as well (which is free).

The only reason to go there is the bartender Carla. Everything else from the owner to the cook who should stay in the kitchen but is not very nice and angry at the world. Stay away as it's not worth your time or money

I've been here a couple times now and every time it is a pleasant experience. The bar is stocked with not only all of your basics but even some more exotic selections like Japanese Whiskeys or more unknown bourbons. I personally enjoy eating at the bar at times, and I love the fact that even with a plate or two in front of me I never feel like cramped. Too often do I eat at the bar only to be bumped and prodded by other people, thankfully this place doesn't have that problem. The dining room is perfectly set up in a way that allows for maximum seating while still feeling spacious. The wait staff are amazing, well dressed and mannered. My favorite food choices would be their chicken sandwich, the ravioli, the original Partner's pizza, and the local clams. Definitely recommend.

BJ Ryan's East proved to be a delightful hangout spot for me. The barmaid's warm and welcoming demeanor made my time there truly enjoyable and comfortable. When I ordered an "Old Fashioned," I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality. It's worth noting that many other places I've tried simply don't compare. The bartender demonstrated her expertise by first inquiring about my preferences and then crafting the perfect blend, complete with the right touch of an orange slice and a marinated cherry. To top it off, the fried calamari arrived promptly, and it was delicious, served in a generous portion. Although I didn't have the opportunity to enjoy dinner during this visit, I'm eagerly looking forward to returning with my wife and kids. This charming establishment has certainly left a positive impression, and I can't wait to experience more of what BJ Ryan's East has to offer.

Great addition to the neighborhood! Friendly staff, delicious food, fun patio and bar atmosphere but also kid friendly. Always ownership or management in house that goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.

I unfortunately had the displeasure of sitting next to Andrew I stand by management for having him leave freedom of speech only goes so far, when your being extremely racist and making others around you uncomfortable. If you were a regular and your only review is 1 star , it's because your embarrassed and you should be , kudos to Keith in my opinion it didn't happen soon enough.

Andrew ..

BJ Ryan's East is an ANTI free speech establishment.I've been a regular for several months, and was told by management that I was banned because I was in a discussion with an individual that "management" didn't agree with.Never mind that the person I was talking with did not take offense with what I said and understood we did not look at the same thing the same way.According to "management" I was wrong and banned from ever setting foot in the building again. All I can say is go to Knot Norm's where the food is awesomely better and you are treated like a person.

One of our Norwalk go-tos. The balboa is heavy but really really good. Good beers, good fries, great atmosphere, everybody is super friendly.

Service was friendly and efficient by multiple team members ( 4 or 5 ). Our main server- Jordan was fantastic. Sincere friendly hospitable personality. The steamers were fresh and hot- tasty. The fish n chips was delicious and a plentiful portion. My teriyaki chix salad dressing doesn't work on lettuce- warm liquid made the lettuce soggy and the onion crisps overbearing. Popular and trendy spot. The tin ceiling helped to make loud talkers' volume uncomfortable. Worth many return visits to explore other extensive menu choices.
