Food above average, price above average, service below average. I got pushback when asking for a different table in a nearly empty restaurant. I wasn’t offered cutlery, water, coffee refill, not even checked on once. Left me wondering why I even bothered to go to a restaurant vs staying home - service would have been better.
We drove an hour to this restaurant from NY because a friend said the food was good. We were not disappointed. The presentation of my hot chocolate brought a smile to my face. All of my food tasted good and was a nice size proportion. We were able to meet one of the owners, Elpida, and she was so pleasant to talk to. I would go back again. There is a parking lot in the back, but we didn't know so we parked on the street.
The food was absolutely delicious, fresh waffles with strawberries, great sandwiches, and amazing specialty drinks. Lots of vegetarian options which is nice. It’s such a cozy and reliable spot for a relaxed lunch. Highly recommend!
