Met up with some friends who had never been before. We've loved this spot for a while and it's still just as great. The salty beef stew, puff dough, dumplings and beef sausage were incredible. Drinks were good but the margarita isn't the strongest. Highly recommend the Negroni and martini.
food was good overall, service and ambience were great. Adjaruli Khachapuri was very good. assorted vegetable dips were okay. the hangover stew had a nice flavor but the veal was fatty/chewy. honey cake was very good but we thought the layers were too dense.
Food was delicious and service was excellent! I went with a friend for lunch and we shared several menu items, The servings were plentiful and delicious. The red wine was semi-sweet and paired extremely well with the menu. We were so full that we weren't able to sample the desserts but will definitely save room next time. We plan to go back with a larger party to sample more of the menu. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and the Cheese Boat is a must!
Very fun night. We had the bread boat and MaaMa salad to start... both really unique in the best possible way. Also enjoyed the hangover stew. They serve Georgian wines aged in clay pots... a first for me and the red was smooth as silk. Great space. Service is slowish, so plan for a leisure evening. It was perfect for visiting with our adult children. I want to try the tasting menu next!
Big portions of hearty and interesting Georgian dishes. Wonderful Georgian wines! Very nice and attentive staff.
First time eating here and we loved it! The service was appropriately attentive and, acknowledging that most people are unfamiliar with Georgian food, they walked us through the menu showing pictures of various items on a tablet. Very helpful. The food was outstanding, and the flavor profiles wonderfully different from our normal fare. You should note that the cheese and bread offerings and salads were big enough to share. Also, I was very impressed with the wine. I had a terrific Saperavi, a full-bodied dry red wine. We were there on a quiet Sunday night so not sure of the noise level when it would be more crowded, but that wouldn't stop us from going again. Can't wait! Note that I think they have changed the name of the restaurant to "MaaMa by Cheese and Bread" (which should not be confused with MaaMa Cafe, which is a separate coffee shop they run down the street from the restaurant).
Celebrated my daughter's graduation and my wife's birthday with our first taste of Georgian cuisine. While we had some issues with my daughter's allergies this was rectified by their management after our visit. It's a very nice place and unique experience
An amazing experience at this Georgian restaurant! The food is exceptional, with rich flavors and authentic dishes that truly stand out. The service is top-notch, making you feel welcomed and well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for high-quality cuisine and outstanding hospitality!
So much flavor! So fresh. It felt like a nice departure from the usual dinner options while not feeling too adventurous. My wife and I shared the most popular cheese+bread dish, Georgian salad, and kebab chicken - and it was plenty for us both. It felt good to indulge in the cheesy bread while still eating really healthy tasty food the rest of the meal. Service was professional; the restaurant spacious and not noisy even when busy. Looking forward to going back!
Really loved trying the different food, everything was delicious and it's beautiful inside.

We had a great dining experience. This was our first time eating Georgian food and the waitstaff did a fantastic job of providing recommendations complete with photos of the food and wine pairings. The food tasted great and was good value. There was quite a long wait for our drinks at times, and I feel that the staff could have been more attentive during the meal. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to try something new in an upscale style with a reasonable price point and approachable atmosphere.
Excellent food and service! My fiancé and I selected the menu option that let us try a bit of everything and do not regret it (dinner tasting). It was great value for the money and amazing quality. Our favorites were the cheese, bread, georgian salad, and Pelamushi. The pelamushi is like a really high quality grape jelly topped with powdered sugar and walnuts, it's light, delicious and unique!
The environment was aesthetically pleasing. However, the food was okay which was disappointing. My family and I came here for lunch before my graduation. We had ordered the cheese and bread, Georgian cheese, and each of us ordered the shish kebab. The cheese and bread, and Georgian cheese were fantastic. However, the shish kebabs were very disappointing. They were very hard and chewy, and for $29 each, it was VERY expensive and we felt like we did not get out money's worth. There were several items we wanted which they said they did not have, which we would of appreciated if they had told us from the start. On top of that, our waitress was not friendly at all and made us feel like we should not be there. If you're in the area looking for a quick snack, then this could be an option, but other than that, I do not recommend this place.
Food was excellent, wine was a welcome interesting discovery, lovely atmosphere. Service was slow towards the end as more people arrived, but overall it was a great experience.
Not as authentic as I had hoped. The waitstaff could use better training—orders were forgotten, and everything arrived at once, leaving the main dish to get cold. Overall, I expected more.
