I've been a regular customer for a long time, but today's experience was unacceptable. I ordered through Uber Eats and received a sandwich with the wrong bread and much smaller than usual. I drove over to clarify, and instead of basic courtesy, I was met with attitude - the staff even ran their finger through my sandwich while questioning whether I looked at it.
As a loyal customer, the lack if empathy and professionalism was really disappointing. If you want better food and service, go to Angelo's Specialties on New Canaan Ave.

Giacomo’s Deli is exceptional. The macaroni salad is much lighter than those at other restaurants, and it’s delicious. I also get a make-your-own-panini with chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, grilled onions, balsamic glaze, and pesto. It’s incredible. Giacomo’s Deli is truly a gem. Highly recommend!

why do they not price out the warm food or even leave a paper with pricing? i just asked for chicken the size of my palm, their watered down rice, and two meat balls....idk pretty alright sizes but for for 3.50 each. omg i spent 18.50 for my small size plate.... never will i spend money again at giacomos. idk what can win me over this but theyre pricey and pls tell me or show me a paper with the prices because i wouldnt expect my plate to be almost 20 dollars. i can pay groceyies for a week with this moey.
