I found this place by accident, I was visiting from Florida during Super Bowl 2025, I was so impressed with the IPA choices, the food was good as well. I came back to Connecticut November 15th 2025 and went back. Still impressed. A must place to visit the service top notch

I wanted clam chowder and I got it. And it was decent! Not the best I've ever had but it hit the spot.

Our food was tasty and our server was lovely and attentive, but the assault on our noses when we walked in was nearly unbearable. There were no fewer than SEVEN heavily scented candles in our eye-line alone (one right next to our table). Not only were they way too overpowering, they were also different scents (a tropical fruit combo and some kind of pumpkin cinnamon), further contributing to the unpleasant and overly strong smell. Even my 3 year old commented it smelled weird. Given that smell and taste are so closely linked, it seemed strange for a restaurant to make this choice to have so many strongly scented candles throughout. The food alone (which, again, was good!) would have likely provided enough of a pleasant smell, prompting us to eat more and stay longer. Or if it didn’t, no added scent would have been the way to go.

Great food, atmosphere. Consistently busy with space to seat you.

Recommend for brunch, lunch and dinner!

This is our 4th visit to Dry Dock. Let's start with the friendly atmosphere upon entering . Each time we have been greeted with friendly smiles. Never rushed and always made to feel welcomed. The food is amazing. Today we had the tuna tartar fresh from Montaulk. We recommend the Bomb Bomb shrimp, caesar salad, burgers, Larry Bird chicken sandwich and if you drink - the signature cocktails are AMAZING. Do drop by often .

Being from out of town it is hard to find a good spot to sit and have a good meal. We had the meat pizza and it was excellent. The staff was awesome and even wished us a safe journey. If I am coming thru again I would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone!

I had one of the worst dining experiences at Drylock Burger. From the moment I walked in, the server’s attitude was shockingly unprofessional — not only were they rude, but they also made racially insensitive comments that were completely unacceptable.

I expected a welcoming environment, but what I encountered was discomfort and disrespect. It’s incredibly disappointing to see this kind of behavior go unchecked in a public setting. The manager seriously needs to take action regarding that staff member — no one should have to deal with racism while trying to enjoy a meal.

Needless to say, I won’t be coming back. There are too many places out there that respect their customers to waste time or money here.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but our experience at Dry Dock Burger was absolutely unacceptable. The server who took care of us was rude, unprofessional, and honestly gave off a racist attitude. Before we were even seated, we overheard her yelling at a Hispanic family behind us, saying:
“You want a gin and tonic? You don’t even look like you drink gin and tonic. Show me your ID.”
It was loud, aggressive, and completely unnecessary. No server should ever speak to a customer like that.

Then she came to our table—yes, the same server—and took our drink order, but completely ignored my girlfriend’s mom. Didn’t acknowledge her, didn’t ask what she wanted. It was so uncomfortable and disrespectful that we actually asked the busser if he could take over because he was super kind and respectful.

Why is someone like her even working in customer service? She clearly has no etiquette, no patience, and no respect for guests. We ended up leaving because we refuse to be treated like that. Dry Dock Burger really needs to take a serious look at who they’re hiring—this kind of behavior is not okay.

I would like to state the waitress was extremely knowledgeable, informative, respectful, friendly, and all around outstanding. The ambience was chill and decent. It has its regulars, which is good. It was quiet and rowdy at the same time, if this makes sense, since it is still a bar. I deducted 3 stars for three reasons. I took a star off because the Philly cheese steak my grandpa ordered was unpleasantly salty and rather dry. There also wasn't much cheese and really no flavor, unfortunately. He stated it was the worst Philly Cheese Steak he’s ever eaten. He also stated his sweet potato fries were over-seasoned with salt. I decided to remove another star since my grandma did not enjoy the margarita pizza she shared with her sister. She felt the pizza was too thin, crunchy, and a bit hard to eat. The cheese was also too salty for her. Another star was removed because I did not enjoy my pizza either, despite it being a custom pizza. I should have asked what type of goat cheese they used instead of assuming it was the same type I use when I make homemade pizza. The goat cheese tasted fine; the problem I had was with the sauce, thin crust, and the honey hot chicken. I felt the sauce was unappetizing and had a strange taste. The thin crust was unpleasant and felt a bit undercooked; the honey hot chicken lacked any taste of honey or hot sauce, it just tasted like grilled chopped chicken. Despite eating the whole 12-inch pizza, since I had not eaten all day, it was rather disappointing and ironic that the waitress even noticed I was not satisfied with the meal. My family and I had high hopes since a family friend we were visiting recommended this place, and spoke highly of this place's food and diversity. Overall, my family and I will most likely not dine here again. We essentially just ate the food since we were all starving in the moment.

We come here pretty often. Been here for happy hour, trivia, football games, etc. It's been great every time. Burgers are always juicy and cooked to perfection. Definitely try the shrimp scampi dip!

Food was good. A little heavy, so be prepared for that.
