This place has some crazy food. The effort they put into making everything look pleasing to the eye is impeccable. The service is great, the waitress was patient and told us about fsn favorite dishes. The food is delicious

I’ll start to say that we didn’t order any of the wild dishes that they are more well known for. We ordered pretty standard food, but I will say the portion sizes were great and all the food was delicious. The staff was very nice and attentive. They brought us some of their house made donuts near the end of the meal on the house. I imagine they were maybe making a new batch and had leftovers (I saw them taking some donuts to another table too). Or maybe it was because we went with the small child and they thought it would be nice for her. Either way, it was very nice.

The decor and atmosphere is really nice. I really enjoyed the vibe. They definitely have some epic dishes on their menu that I think we will come back to try on a day when we don’t have a young kid in tow. It’s definitely meant more for adults than children, although kids aren’t out of place there.

We had the souvlaki platter, the grains and greens salad bowl, and the kids Mac and cheese. Everything was just really good. Very filling, very homey, and large portions at a good price point. The donuts were the cakey homemade ones with cinnamon sugar and they were perfect.

Overall, would definitely come back. Definitely want to try some of their more creative and bonkers menu items.

Ok, so work around the corner I figured let me try this place. What is all the hype about. There is no hype. Just your Sundays and making them look fun and edible. I have gone to other dinners and breakfast/lunch places that are way better. Ordered a steak omelet the steak was hard as a rock veggies were not cooked well. Pancakes tasted like store brand. And way tooooo overpriced. A name like this you should have better quality food! Oh yea side of potatoes gross and the orange juice tasted like ocean spray not fresh!

The drinks were good. Atmosphere was cute. The portion sizes of food was very generous. But the food had absolutely no flavor and the service was terrible. At one point, the waiter even walked away while we were asking for a plate and drinks. Wouldn’t go back to this location, open to trying Stamford’s location.

Such a fun experience at Elm Street Diner! It’s classic diner food reimagined in a creative and delicious way. Our favorites were the savory breakfast tacos and the cheesecake pancakes, both were incredible. The restaurant has an awesome energy, it’s spotless, and you can tell they really care about the details.

The service was top notch. Everyone was so attentive and kind, we felt completely taken care of from start to finish. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Elm Street Diner is one of those places that truly lives up to the hype. The over-the-top dishes and milkshakes are as fun and Instagram-worthy as they look, but what makes this spot stand out is that the food is also high quality and absolutely delicious.

Everything I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. You can tell the team cares about making food that’s both creative and worth coming back for.

The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Whether it’s brunch, dinner, or just stopping in for a treat, I always leave full and happy.

Elm Street Diner isn’t just about presentation—it’s a must-visit in Norwalk for anyone who loves great food.

Nice space. You can tell they put a lot of resources into the build, but the spending obviously isn’t a top priority when it comes to food cost.
This was our first time here so we got a bit of everything.
We started with the fried Mac & Cheese. Before ordering, we asked server if they were made in house. She paused, looking confused, before answering yes. Well, I guess what she meant was ‘yes, they are taken from freezer to the fryer.’ They lacked flavor and were not crisp at all.
We also ordered the brunch egg rolls. Again, obviously freezer to fryer. They were topped with a layer of cheese that only made them more greasy. *They appear to be from Webstaurant.
Onto the main event..
The bagel & lox. This was very interesting. It was a barely toasted split bagel; one half on bagel had the salmon piled on, the other half had a pile of onion and capers. Salmon had a piece of plastic that appeared to be a broken piece of disposable dressing cup. The cream cheese was in a plastic 2 oz container and a couple of cups of undressed arugula with sliced cucumber took residence on the remainder of the plate. So, to eat your bagel and lox, one had to take the salmon, onion and capers off, spread cream cheese and rebuild. Later, when asked for a bit of dressing, the waitress cheerfully agreed, only to forget it until she was reminded quite a while later.
Next up…Hot Honey Fried Chicken Brunch Melt. Great concept, only, once again, if they had invested in quality ingredients. It was a pressed, breaded chicken patty. Yep, if cheap Banquet brand chicken is what you are imagining, you’re right on the money.
We finally asked to see the manager, almost giving up before he appeared around 10 minutes later.
When told of the issues, the manager told us that he’d been in the restaurant business for 20 years; everything is made fresh daily in house AND, we should’ve shown him the plastic.
He reluctantly took off the Hot Honey sandwich and we were out of there.
This is truly a cute space with a great concept, but do not ask $20 for a meal that you have less than $3 food cost invested in. Also, when your staff alerts you of unhappy diners in a restaurant that is, at best, 10% occupied, have a bit more hustle. Your staff depends on you.

Walking into this place I had high hopes the building was so cute and clean. I quickly realized they are all show. Most of their food seems to be not made in house (despite being told it was). The fried Mac and cheese tasted like it had been microwaved. The chicken on the brunch sandwich was lower quality than a McDonalds chicken nugget. The fries were tasteless. We were one of 3 tables in the restaurant and our waitress kept forgetting about us. The arugula salad on the side of one of our meals was completely dry. The food also took forever to come out and when we asked for a manager it took over 10 minutes. It was also way over priced.

The atmosphere was ok, it was a little awkward because there wasn't many people in there. The portions were moderate, what I ordered, but I found it to be pricey. I guess you pay for the wow, viral plates they offer.
I got a simple chicken sandwich, it was ok.

Prior to arriving, they made sure they could accommodate a party of 7, so that was nice.

My husband had the Big Mac Loaded Fries and it was good. The fries were almost perfect not completely crispy enough.
He also had the Elm Street Favorite Shake.

My brother had the Big Mac Salad that he customized to his liking and he loved it. Even the manager came out to make sure his customized order was correct.

My sister had Gnocchi, Steak and fried Burrata, steak was done well to her liking and the Gnoochi was too soft and over cooked.

My mother and daughter had the Elm Street Cheeseburger, fries and they both LOVED it. My daughter had the Funfetti shake and she said it was so good, she wanted to fall asleep in it😂

I had the Texas Chilli with tortilla strips, the chili was very tasty. I also had the HONEY HOT Chicken Cheeseburger and onion rings. There was nothing HOT about it but it was still tasty.
Lastly, I ordered the Red Velvet cake to go and it was also tasty.

Miguel our waiter was good and attentive. He even gave us house donuts, they were cinnamon sugar donuts. They also gave my niece a piece of candy and that was a thoughtful gesture.

The service was great upbeat attitudes... love it. The food was amazing. So many worthy options. The drinks were definitely worth it... not just the usual options you see. Will definitely return.
