We had eaten at this restaurant before and always had good service & good food combined with a very nice view of the water. We ate there yesterday for their Thanksgiving prix fixe dinner. Our first impression was of 2 young girls running & yelling back & forth in the dining room. It is not the responsibility of the staff to correct other people's children but they should have said something to their parents to request that their children stay seated at their table. If we were at Chuck E Cheese we'd expect children to be running & yelling. You don't expect it at a nice restaurant. Then they were out of items that were on the menu. Our starters were brought to the table & we had to ask for silverware. The salmon was good but the "slow roasted turkey" was clearly sliced turkey loaf. Seriously? For $68 per person not including drinks we did not expect low budget cafeteria food. We had to ask for the cranberry sauce that was listed on the menu. We were one of the later seatings of the night and despite the restaurant only being about 1/3 full, the service was very slow. I was seated facing the bar and throughout my entire dinner my view was of the staff polishing glasses and rolling silverware/napkins in the dining room. With 2 prix fixe dinners, 2 drinks, 2 coffees & the automatic 20% gratuity we spent $250 for a mediocre meal and disappointing experience. We will not be back.

This was out first time dining here other than summertime. Everything was fabulous! The food and service were impeccable!

It was a quiet night (a Monday.) The view is always wonderful. We had pear salad, fried calamari, lobster roll, fish and chips, shrimp and scallops over angel hair and the veal special. It was all excellent. Our waiter Mario was great. Very attentive. It's our favorite restaurant to celebrate special occasions.

The location and view were absolutely beautiful, and the seating area was comfortable and relaxing. The service was okay, but there’s room for improvement. The food options were quite limited , it would be nice to see more variety on the menu. Additionally, the staff could be a bit more attentive and friendly to enhance the overall experience. Overall, it’s a lovely spot with great views, but the service and food selection could be better.

I cannot praise Harbor Lights enough. This restaurant was the venue for a baby shower and the whole experience was just perfect. The food was incredibly delicious. The staff was outstandingly attentive. They were always walking by at just the right time with the non-alcoholic refills for guests. The space was roomy, inviting and had beautiful waterfront views with access to the outdoor porch. Alexandria, the event coordinator, always responded quickly, was more than accommodating with a few menu switches and with the addition of the signature non-alcoholic drinks. Amazing experience and I look forward to dining there again.

Absolutely amazing dinner by the water! Service was amazing, food was delicious, and the espresso martinis to end the night were perfect!

Lived in Norwalk for years and this was my favorite restaurant. Unfortunately had the worst dining experience of my life. Waited 20 minutes for a waiter, figured oh well they just forgot. Waited another 25 minutes for the drinks to come so 45 minutes to get a water glass of wine and they forgot my wife’s sprite. Then the food was horrible. The oysters rockafeller were putrid. The lobster bites were tiny and dry. The tuna tartar was disgusting/came with lays potato chips and the burrata somehow was dry with what was supposed to be prosciutto but looked like a dilapidated chunk of ham. Thinking it must be new management or owners because this place used to be great. Deeply saddened this no longer a go to.
