Finally made it to try this place out. I have been missing out!!! This place is FANTASTIC!!! The food was amazing, and the staff were incredibly kind and patient with me and my family. Miss Pam our waitress was so friendly and attentive to us and helped keep our kids happy and content. The atmosphere is simple, clean and welcoming. Not only was the quality of the food spectacular, the portions are huge! As well as being very reasonably priced. I CAN NOT wait to make another visit to this location!!! The deviled eggs are a must!!! And obviously the pickles are fantastic! I was surprised at how good their biscuits and beer were as well. Make sure to ask for Pam!! We will definitely be repeat customers!!!

The fried chicken and biscuit were nothing short of extraordinary, the best I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. If you find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and give them a try, I promise you won’t regret it.

Are you dumb? This place is fall off the bone good in every way. I recommend the sampler to catch the full experience. The biscuits and fixin’s is low key the star, bacon slab will make you wanna slap yo mama, and the pickles, well that should be obvious, but those are a straight up motion picture MOVIE!

This place deserves every star of it's 5 star reviews. I had the honey chicken and pickles. Please not these are not fried pickles, but are delicious nonetheless. The 2 chicken cutlets included were huge and perfectly fried to a delicious crisp. Also, just a hint of honey and spice. The pickles were delicious as well as should be expected from a place called Jacob's pickles. They were unlike any sour pickle's I have ever tasted. All of this was served over huge buttermilk biscuits. Also included were cheesy grits which were quite good as well. I never even got to finish this as I was stuffed to the gills. I highly recommend this place.

We stopped at Jacob’s Pickles at the SoNo Collection during a 4-mile walk near Oyster Shell Park. They had a restaurant week prix fixe menu, so we split a meal — deviled eggs, the hot honey chicken biscuit sandwich, and Oreo cake.

The deviled eggs were classic, each with a little pickle inside. The sandwich was massive and full of flavor — crispy chicken, hot honey, buttery biscuit. The Oreo cake was rich and creamy, with that classic Oreo flavor in both the cake and frosting.

Drinks were a Diet Coke, watermelon lemonade sangria, and a European IPA that had grapefruit and pineapple notes.

Our server, Julian, made the experience even better — super friendly, funny, and full of Star Wars references. We’ll definitely be back.

On 9/18/2025 at 12:40pm I was doubled charged there first for $113.79 then an additional time for the actual cost plus tip of $133.79 by our server “Karen G.” Currently disputing it with my bank. Food was good. But check your statements. Until things are resolved I would not suggest. Hopefully it was an honest mistake.

My husband and I had such a wonderful experience at Jacob's Pickles!! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We felt the love in every bite...The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The even had live music!!

A special shout-out to our server, Julian C., who truly made the evening memorable. He was attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and had such a positive and friendly attitude. Julian went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and his recommendations were spot on.

We will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family. Thank you for an amazing dining experience!

In its own right, the food tasted good. For a place called Jacob’s Pickles, the pickles on the chicken were delicious. The portions are BIG. If you’re looking for something tasty, this would be a good choice. If you’re from the south and are looking for real Southern food, this is not the place (speaking as someone from Western North Carolina).

The biscuits were more cakey, as you can see they are square? I thought they were cornbread at first. The seasonal butters that it came with were all pretty tasty. The sausage gravy tasted like a chowder so my brain and taste buds were kind of confused there. Catfish definitely not seasoned. Nashville hot was not Nashville hot. Not the place if you want sweet grits either. The grits come buttered and cheesed and salted. Sweet tea is also sweetened with honey. If you ask for hot sauce, it’s just the Nashville Hot or Sriracha which is an interesting choice. No true vinegar based hot sauce like Louisiana, Tobasco, or Texas Pete.

Again, most everything tasted good. Just not southern. LOVED the Mac and cheese. It was seasoned well, you could taste and appreciate different types of cheeses. That was delicious. The Oreo icebox pie thing was an amazingly decadent dessert and very big. Jumbo shrimp on the fried seafood platter were JUMBO and I loved the grits which were also well seasoned. Sweet tea had me conflicted because it tasted good, but it did feel like it was missing sugar 😂

While visiting Connecticut our family had lunch Jacob's pickles by chance, I was unsure, but the food was delicious. It was my first time having fried pickles, I totally enjoyed it. Our waiter was awesome; it was like being part of his family. It was so good that I returned home and framed the bag. Jacob's Pickles South Norwalk is totally worth the trip!
