What an amazing experience! The food is delicious, our waiter was super attentive and offered some very tasty recommendations. We visited for Dinner, it was a little hectic and we didn’t have reservations but the waiter and hostess (which happens to be the owner) made us feel special, and even addressed us by our names. We had the chicken parm with fettuccine pesto, the swordfish (DELICIOUS) and the artichokes florets - everything was amazing!!!! What called my attention to the restaurant is the name, as my daughter’s name is Josie, they made her feel so special (THANK YOU) .. We will definitely be visiting again to try their sandwiches!!!

Excellent dining experience in Fairfield county that has already become a staple of SoNo. The quality is reflective of the passion that the owner / founder has poured into it. Unique cocktails, extensive wine list, and stellar food make Josie and Tony's a timeless New York Italian restaurant experience.

Josie & Tony’s is the first supper club to open in Fairfield county, and they’ve also recently opened a deli in the lobby of the restaurant. This review is based on our experience at the deli, but I’ll definitely update it once we come back to visit the restaurant for dinner sometime!
All of the sandwiches are made on locally-sourced bread from Wave Hill, and the ingredients used are all of great quality. There’s a nice variety to choose from - some of our favorites were the chicken parm and Italian combo. You can’t leave without trying the rainbow cookies though: they’re made from the owner’s mother’s recipe, and the homemade jam makes all of the difference! These were some of the best rainbow cookies I had ever had. There’s a small seating area by the window, and you can see into the charming restaurant when you’re standing at the counter. With such a great experience at the deli, we can’t wait to come back and visit the restaurant!
Part 2: As promised, I went back for dinner at Josie & Tony’s and had a really nice experience! Having the Caesar salad prepared tableside really stood out to us, and all of the food was delicious. I took my mom for a girls night and we really loved the old Hollywood vibe. This meal reaffirmed for me that this is definitely a Norwalk gem!

Ahhh to be back w the chef of former PASTA NOSTRA oNCE AGAIN. ! superb service and excellent food. The beautifully done bronzino and the chicken Parmesan drew raves. Hand made Caesar salad a table was a delight for all and of course the homemade noodles brought back memories of old days. Service was exemplary under Genes expertise also an old friend for many years. New decor Most welcome in upscale and cozy new atmosphere. Can’t wait to return and dig into a number of other pastas on the menu!!!!

As someone who grew up in an Italian family and in New Haven surrounded by great Italian food, I have a pretty high bar. But Josie & Tony’s exceeded all expectations.
The service was terrific. We have a five-year-old who spilled a few times and several of the wait staff came over to help clean up and put napkins over the spill. We had 4-5 people cycling through to wait on us so we always had what we needed. Everyone was so attentive, friendly and helpful.
As for the food, let’s just say that both my girls (5 and 8) ate absolutely everything. That’s never happened. Ever. Caesar salad, zucchini flowers, meatballs, chicken parm, pesto fettuccine, dessert…they crushed it all. I didn’t get one bite of the chicken parm!
The adults’ dinner was just as good. We got the braciola and bucatini - both excellent. The reviewer who said the braciola was a pile of mush is nuts. It was delicious.
Dessets were also great - creamsicle, canolis, and zeppoles.
In all, a wonderful experience and dinner to celebrate Father’s Day. I honestly can’t wait to go back.

Highs of the meal: music, Caesar salad, and biscotti espresso martini
Lows: lack of flavor in almost everything we ate. Braciole / polenta was a pile of mush which was terrible. Stouffers offers a more edible chicken parm. Could also do without the waitress’ tude.

I had to write a review for our dinner at Josie & Tony’s. We went tonight, for my first Mother’s Day. The ambiance is really nice and the service? 10/10! The bartender, whose name I did not catch (he was wearing a cool floral shirt!) was so kind and whipped up some mocktails for us as we don’t drink. And our waiter, Gene (short for Eugene) was amazing. He was so engaging, and incredibly kind! He checked in on us frequently and really made the entire experience a joy! The food was incredible and I really wanted to shoutout Gene for his service! He wished me a happy Mother’s Day, we talked about our daughter, he shared about his kids, and was just a gem. I would absolutely come back here, food was also incredible! Definitely will be back!

What a gem of a place. I don't live in the area (was just passing through) but if I did, I would put this place on my "regular stops" list. Owner Josh Mesnik has created such a hip and classy atmosphere, complete with fabulous photos on the walls, a killer playlist, a gorgeous bar, and fabulous lighting. The food includes both classic Italian dishes and twists on the classics that are both inventive and comforting. We ordered one of their specials that night—homemade lamb ravioli with a carrot au jus—and it was just fantastic. It's the perfect place for a special night and I would highly recommend checking it out!

I love this place! The atmosphere, food, drinks, and vibrations are on point. The service is similar to that of a high-end NYC restaurant. Not to mention, I stopped in for a deli sandwich the other day and almost fell off my chair. Best deli sammie’s this side of Arthur Avenue. The experience is familial and high class at the same time. Check it out.
