Sadly, Michele’s Pies has cheapened their products by using vanilla that contains propylene glycol, caramel color, artificial flavoring and potassium sorbate, something that one wouldn’t expect of an award-winning bakery.
Easiest 5 star review I’ve ever given, would give more stars if I could. I don’t know why I waited so long to write a review since I’ve been eating these pies for 10+ years at this point. The absolute most delicious pie you will ever find. I have been consuming pies from here for years, and this yeah I finally shared a pie with my extended family at thanksgiving. My 90 year old grandfather rated the chocolate bourbon pecan pie as “bussin” at the thanksgiving table, and my entire family, all the aunties and uncles were very impressed and delighted with my thanksgiving contribution.
