We visited Mike's last week. The food and service were absolutely outstanding. It was 'old school' with the owner bringing us dish after dish. We have not had an experience like that in quite some time.

Mike was Nino’s father. Nino is the authentic force behind this ristorante. It is a wonderfully authentic white-tablecloth affair. The food is fantastic and Nino always has the best in great Italian red wines. Just there at the table waiting for you. From anywhere in Fairfield county, it is well worth the trip.

Great place and food! I would give them 5 stars, but they have this old puppy barking (but no biting) too loud. When the owner lady keeps him on a leash, it turns a great place again.

I gave my husband the gift of a dinner for two here and we were amazed. We felt like we were dining in Italy! As we sat down we were warmly greeted and presented with a salad for two. As entrees my husband had Veal Contandina and I had a special which was Eggplant stuffed with ricotta cheese and mushrooms. Both were outstanding! The tiramisu is yummy. The service and ambiance at this restaurant is top notch. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

despite the many little things they do right such as the service and the coziness of the place, the food wasn't good, You could notice how they were using good ingredients, but the execution was very poor, I did not feel it was worth the price.

Incredible food and amazing service. We loved the relaxed atmosphere; when you walk in, you immediately get bread and salad and at the end of the meal we got a little cup of gelato. Nino took my allergies into account which I really appreciate!
