I came here with my kids to enjoy some ice cream, and it was such a disappointment. The cashier was laughing and chatting with the other employees, taking her time to put in the orders. There were only about six people inside, yet it took forever just to get the first ice cream.
When I went to check what was going on, I noticed the girl preparing the second ice cream had very long nails and wasn’t wearing gloves. She was touching the boba and cutting the banana with her bare hands. I told her I didn’t want that ice cream because she wasn’t wearing gloves, and she rolled her eyes at me, clearly annoyed.
This place is supposed to be an iconic spot in Norwalk, but sadly the young employees there seem to do whatever they want with no supervision. There were many tickets coming out of the machine, and no one was moving to get the orders out. Such a disappointment to see a nice place run with that level of service and hygiene.

Ice cream is mid and to creamy and chocolate shell has no crunch. I will say the atmosphere is amazing though good seating and amazing views of Norwalk and the water. Good music, kids dancing, good vibes.

I give 3 stars not because of the quality of the product, but because of the attention. The people are not very friendly, specifically the girls who are there at 3 pm, very atypical and have a bad face. A company grows and is maintained when its workers are well trained and instructed in customer service.

I came to get ice cream in the evening on 9/18 and my friends and I were serviced by 2 girls at the order window who both had such an attitude and were acting as if they were doing us a favor by taking our orders. One of my friends has a severe gluten allergy and wanted to confirm the cone she got was gluten free after she was handed a sugar cone. When she went to the window to confirm it was gluten free, because it was different than the cones she’s received before, the young man who answered the window was frustrated and annoyed. He acted as if it was an inconvenience to him that he had to check the box for me. We have been coming to frostys forever and are extremely disappointed by the customer service as it has never been like this before.
