The cook is great but the lady that is always there, needs to smile & be nice to her repeated customers. I stopped going because of her.

Great bakery
Man oh man was I happy to stop in here. Drove by after a swimming course for some cookies and bread all of which were very fresh more than a few spots now have a habit of selling stale cookies. Point is this was my 4th weekend getting an assortment of cookies and danishes ?

Good service
Fast friendly service. Food is reasonably priced and good. I tried a bacon egg and cheese on a hard roll. Jonathan's said his croissant was really good. We'll be back.
New York Bakery in Norwalk is an absolute must-visit for pastry enthusiasts. Offering a delightful array of pastries, it stands out as a confectionary gem in the area. The variety is impressive, catering to all tastes, but the Almond Horn is a masterpiece that truly steals the show. Perfectly crisp, with a rich almond flavor and a texture that melts in your mouth, it embodies the skill and passion the bakers pour into every creation. Service at the bakery is warm and welcoming, making every visit a pleasure. Whether you're a local or just passing through, New York Bakery's tantalizing selection is sure to leave you craving more.
Delicious pastries and pretty great coffee too! Will be going back.
I ordered a sandwich on a sesame seed roll. The bread hurt my mouth! It was so hard

Good service!!
Family owned goodness.
Best Italian bread around. Good pastries also. But the bread is so tasty. Had a fresh loaf yesterday hot out of the oven.
I purchased 6 cupcakes. They were not good at all. I should have asked if the icing was vanilla buttercream because it definitely was not. Unsure what the flavor was but it for sure did not taste like vanilla or buttercream. The cupcakes had a very strange taste. I guess that's what I get for assuming what looked like a standard vanilla cupcake was just that.
You MUST tell customers when they pick up their cakes that if the baker has left for the day, they will not be able to put writing on on their cakes in the case. I went in for a last minute birthday cake. They had many, great. Asked for simple happy birthday writing on the cake they said sure. They took the cake in the back and 10 MINUTES later they come back with the most awful looking writing. As if a 2 year old did it. I said I’m so sorry, I don’t think I can take the cake like that. They responded “the baker already left so I did it” to which I said, well you should have mentioned that, I wouldn’t have had you (the cashier girl) do it. She takes the cake in the back and WIPES OFF the writing and gives it back to me. I was already there for so long I had to just take it and go. Wish I had a picture
