I always felt Oishi was always a good, but not great, place for dinner in Norwalk. That changed tonight. Jessica was a great server and incredibly attentive to our needs, while also being a joy to talk to. Looking forward to going again for the opportunity to see her.

Stopped in for lunch one Saturday and although we were the only ones in the place, the food was fantastic and the service was speedy! The lunch special was a bit pricier than you’d find at a Sushi joint more toward New Haven, but the interior is modern and decorated, more intimate and romantic so that’s most likely why. Cute place.

This is a favorite spot for my partner and I, but unfortunately last night left a bad taste. We usually have a blonde woman server who is incredible and the sushi is always top notch, but last night we had a man server who was terrible. He forgot one of our drinks at the bar for 20min, he was so loud and interrupted our conversation multiple times to make comments about how slow the sushi chefs were, and the worst part, once we paid and left him a tip, he came back to the table and asked how the service was because we “only left” him an X amount tip. So rude.
