From the moment we started discussing the menu we were off to a rough start and my gut instincts told me this was going to be a problem. And I was right. But they were the exclusive caterer to the venue I really wanted. So I had no choice but to continue.
In summary - I found them abrasive and difficult to work with, constantly upselling, incredibly expensive, slow in response times and ultimately embarrasing to me in front of my guests with the quality and quantity of food delivered. As a small business owner myself, I was shocked by how I was treated as the client.
I am not sure how there are so many positive reviews here because I had a completely different experience.
This was an epic 50th birthday celebration I had been dreaming up for a long time and of the 15+ vendors I worked with, they were by far the absolute worst part of my experience.

We toured a few venues then came across Hudson Loft and Ali (who previously worked there). We loved the space because of the windows looking out to the Hudson River and because we could really do anything with the space. We had been planning with Samantha for over a year and she has been nothing but great. She answered all of my questions (while living in CA) and was super professional yet friendly. She always had a positive attitude which was great to work with! On the Marc catering is top tier as well. My husband and I had so much fun during our food tasting. Our guests also looooved all the foods and drinks we chose, and food is a super important factor when it comes to weddings!! We appreciate Samantha and the chef for being flexible on how they prepared one of the dishes. The venue really does speak for itself when golden hour hits. It was literally a perfect day on our wedding day and we were so happy with Hudson Loft and the staff. Each and every one of them was so nice and so prompt. Thank you so much for the most magical day!! If I could I would do it all over again!
