We were at the restaurant on a Tuesday night celebrating a birthday, the restaurant was not crowded so noise level was low and we had choices of seating both inside and out. The restaurant is lovely, decor inside is so warm and inviting. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating and very helpful offering menu suggestions when asked. Best Italian food in the area and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. They go out of their way to make sure your food is prepared as you like it. Lasagna, chicken parm & chicken francese are great but the steak and seafood are excellent also. They also own Romanacci, two doors down in the same plaza. Great pizza and smaller plates. Right next to that is Oggi Gelato!

We didn't set out looking for Osteria Romana but had just returned from a full day of travel that ended at JFK airport. We were hungry, and Norwalk was about halfway home. We logged into OpenTable and searched for an Italian restaurant in Norwalk and chose Osteria Romana. It was easy to get to off of I-95 and had ample parking.
