Waited over 30 mins for a cappuccino, latte and pastries while we watched customers come in, order a drink, and leave. No communication that there would be a delay, no apology when we asked but plenty of snark delivered to our faces and in Italian behind our backs.

Pausa Caffè is a hidden gem! It is honestly the only place I enjoy having coffee outside of my home. (We have a Breville coffee machine, so I suppose I'm spoiled in that sense.) Everyone is always kind and friendly, the coffee is great, the food is delicious, it is a beautiful space and the tables are always very clean. We love Pausa! Great people who value their customers. It will continue to be our go to spot!

The quality of ingredients here is amazing! They have some of the best bakery items in the area. The espresso and espresso based drinks are done properly. The staff is nice and does table service. Very classy cafe. Would highly recommend:)

Pausa Caffè – Where Espresso Meets Elegance!
If you’re searching for a true Italian coffee experience without hopping on a flight to Rome, Pausa Caffè delivers the next best thing. Nestled in Norwalk, Connecticut this charming café blends tradition, quality, and comfort in one aromatic package.
Pausa Caffè feels like an Italian daydream—warm lighting, earthy tones, and a clean, modern-rustic interior with just the right touch of vintage flair. Italian chatter softly hums in the background, and there’s always that comforting clink of porcelain cups being set down just right.
The espresso here is the real deal—pulled short and strong, with a velvety crema that lingers. Their high quality imported espresso beans grounded fresh for each shot . I tried the caffè, the Nutella latte, cappuccino and espresso, both crafted with precision, no bitterness, and that rich, smooth finish that only comes from the greatest barista’s around.
Their cornetto al pistacchio is worth writing home about—flaky, buttery, and generously filled. The kinder cheesecake Rocher dessert and cinque sensi It’s clear they take their authentic Italian desserts as seriously as their coffee.
Attentive, welcoming, and always ready with a recommendation. The baristas here know their craft and treat each cup like an art form. Whether you’re grabbing a quick espresso at the bar or lingering with a cappuccino, they make you feel right at home.
Highly recommend Nutella latte.
Whether you’re in for a quick “pausa” or settling in with a book, the atmosphere suits both. Locals drop in like clockwork, and there’s a gentle rhythm to the place that’s comforting and unrushed.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A standout spot that brings la dolce vita to the daily grind. Pausa Caffè isn’t just a coffee shop—it’s a ritual.

Best cafe I've been to in the area. I'm in Ridgefield but you can't seem to find anything like this there or in Wilton. A place where you can sit down with a good coffee and enjoy drinking from actual coffee cups or mugs and not be forced to drink from some trashy take out paper cups. Totally worth driving the extra 15 minutes to here.
Nice pastries but nothing really extraordinary. The one thing that bothered me is NO WIFI. For a cafe this isn’t really great. Would love to support boutique shops 100% but Starbucks wins again.
