Public Wine Bar SoNo is a hidden gem on Washington Street. The brunch menu offers excellent choices like French toast, cheese steak omelet, and breakfast burger with crispy fries. Mediterranean dishes are a hit, especially the Brussels sprouts salad and parrillada platter for two. The ambiance is stunning and sets the perfect mood. The staff are friendly, helpful, and professional, and the service is exceptional. Visitors can enjoy a mocktail like the strawberry palm tree or indulge in wine. The lunch experience was fabulous with bottomless mimosas and a warm lobster salad with avocado and citrus. The food is amazing, with great food all around. The chopped salad is the best on the SoNo block, as is the chicken entree. The NY steak and the seafood risotto are highly recommended. The waiter was very attentive and kept checking, and made killer cocktails. The DJ played a variety of music which was a nice vibe. The restaurant is reasonably priced, and the modern décor adds to its appeal.
