We visited Rincon Taqueria for lunch. As we walked in, there was one other couple - practically empty. They appeared to have a Chilean and Mexican fusion of dishes. This was confirmed by one of their waiters, Daniel who was great with service. We ordered the chicken empanada appetizer but wasn't impressed with the taste. Good size but it had a sweet taste? Never had a sweet empanada. Also ordered a chicken burrito but wow, it was the size of an arm. Way too much for one person - well at least for me it was. It can easily be split into three dishes. The taste was 'okay' but honestly not as good as others I've eaten at other restaurants. Tamales and rice and beans were good. Margarita was 'meh' not strong enough. If you're really hungry, order the burrito. It can easily feed a family. Would we go back, yeah but to try something different.

Very nice first experience at Rincon Taqueria today. Went in for lunch. Very friendly staff and great service. The food was delicious! We had chicken quesadilla, breakfast tacos, empanadas and fish tacos - and skinny margarita! Many other things I would like to try, will definitely be going back!!

Not sure if we came on an off day but our experience was bad, and the food worse. It certainly looked nothing like the posted pictures. We were the second table seated in the restaurant. We ordered a salad, burrito, and chicken quesadilla. The quesadilla took 35+ min to come out, and was a cheese quesadilla. No point in sending it back because the other two dishes took 10 more minutes to come and we didn’t want to risk waiting even longer. Antithetical to being a taqueria in my experience.When the dishes did come out, it was all style and no substance. The burrito was monstrous, had two tortillas inside, and the filling was barely filling and completely understated, nondescript mush. You could only tell a handful of the components apart, mostly on sight and not flavor. The burrito covering was a fried mess, and it looked like a shoe. And the salad came undressed in an over fried tortilla bowl, which made it nearly impossible to mix anything. It also had very little taste.Service was unresponsive, but they seemed like nice people. After over an hour, getting bad/wrong food and very little guidance or attending from staff, we will not be going back ever again. It’s a shame because the ambiance is great, the pictures look tasty, and the reviews are great too. So again, maybe it was an off day. But even if so, better communication and effort in the kitchen is a must.
The food, the drinks and the service are all great. The menu has many options with all being fresh and full of flavor and well priced. The staff are lovely young people who are attentive and hardworking. At any time you will find the owners in the restaurant. They are always willing to speak and accommodate their patrons. This is how a restaurant should be run!
