My fiancé and I had an incredible experience at Siena for dinner. We were celebrating our anniversary and our server, Corey, made sure to pull out all the stops to make it a special night. We thoroughly enjoyed the environment which was upscale and fun. The food and drinks were outstanding! We were blown away by the attentiveness of all the staff and the flavors of our dishes. 10/10 would recommend!!

The food, drink and staff here were absolutely delightful and inviting! We traveled from Jersey for a birthday dinner for a family member but it also happened to be my FIL birthday so we thought why not brunch in Connecticut while we are there! What a treat! And the drinks were such a great treat! If you’re in the area definitely stop in it will be well worth it!

What an amazing experience at Siena Norwalk. We are staying at hotel so thought- why not. Place is beautifully decorated, comfortable. Everyone from front desk to waitstaff and team were wonderful. But Corey our waiter was exceptional. So very attentive but in a quiet unassuming way- so proper- from seating us to how he went to far side of table to pour water (every single time my cup got near empty someone filled) to not cross between my husband and I. I usually wouldn't even take note of people passing between us or across table but I did take notice to how he went out of his way to NOT! He made great recs for delicious meals as well. Service was very professional, friendly and moved at a great pace. Now the food. Started a bread and oil - with a little red pepper which was delicious. Our mains we had the pappardelle bolognese and flatiron steak. The bolognese was flavorful and perfectly prepared. Hubs loved the tender flatiron and the large crispy steak fries. Complementary rosemary focaccia made me go overboard and eat too much. Next was limoncello to cleanse palate (complimentary) and 3 crispy lil biscotti. And then we ordered dessert- hazelnut and chocolate mousse to share and a cappuccino and an Irish coffee. When they saw I put bday on my open table reservation they brought a vanilla bean gelato w a candle as well. I had a glass of Pinot noir and husband had 2 cocktails. I'm rolling back to hotel and the price could not be beat!! <$150 before tip! I could not believe it! I may drive from NY for dinner. It may be cheaper!! Everyone should try this place. And ask for Corey.
Food was good. Service was the issue. We arrived for a 7 pm reservation to be told our table was not ready. We were seated at 8pm. Waiter was stretched thin with all his tables but he was super nice and did the best he could. Once we ordered appetizers came out immediately but mains took a long time. A big positive was the great bartender and his delicious drinks! Going to give it another try... maybe not on a busy Saturday night!
You can easily miss this restaurant since it's inside a hotel but make no mistake , the food is top tier. All their pastas are homemade, my personal favorite is the bolognese. The ambiance is quite nice but can get crowded on a weekend so be sure to make a reservation. Always a favorite spot in Norwalk.
I'd like to love this venue because I've had a great experience at their other location for years. However, Norwalk Siena could improve. Waiter: Was not pleasant. (He was stern & dismissive). Water: something was swirling in my glass so I skipped drinking it. Other: One blackfly terrorized us throughout the meal. Wine: small portion for the price. Table: Don't seat a party of 2 at a table of 4 & then jostle our meal by eventually moving the 2nd table. Music: Was way too loud starting midway in our meal. This was not pleasant. HINT: Focus on providing a fine dining experience by addressing the aforementioned. Also-- parking was a bit of a headache.
Love this restaurant! Great service and great food!

“We had a perfect evening at Siena Restaurant. Doris, our server, was very kind and attentive. The food arrived on time, and the steak was cooked exactly as we ordered. The place is clean, cozy, and elegant. Truly an excellent experience.”

Our server was very kind. However the other staff kept taking our plates away when we were on our last bites or even when we were still chewing. We felt very rushed. We ordered the pear salad special and some of the ingredients listed weren't on it when it came to the table. We also ordered the truffle mushroom pasta and yes it had good flavor but it was extremely oily. I couldn't finish it. The ambiance was lacking. Very bare, very corporate feel. We were very excited to try Siena but we won't be going back unfortunately.
The first time we went, the experience was exceptional! The second time we went was for Valentine's Day, and we should have anticipated a prefix menu, but didn't. While the service was still top notch - a glass of champagne at the door and attentive staff, the prefix cost did not match the menu options and the food seemed to be a little under par given the first experience. We have gone back since, hoping this was a blip, and it seemed as though it was.
