Our server was very kind. However the other staff kept taking our plates away when we were on our last bites or even when we were still chewing. We felt very rushed. We ordered the pear salad special and some of the ingredients listed weren't on it when it came to the table. We also ordered the truffle mushroom pasta and yes it had good flavor but it was extremely oily. I couldn't finish it. The ambiance was lacking. Very bare, very corporate feel. We were very excited to try Siena but we won't be going back unfortunately.

Siena is a lovely surprise nestled in the Watershed hotel in Norwalk. The restaurant is nicely decorated with a modern vibe and overlooks the Norwalk river. The menu is reasonably diverse and the food is very good. Fun cocktail list with one mocktail offering (Golden Hour) that was excellent. It's fully staffed so the attention level is very attentive. Ask for a table by the windows so you can look down at the river.

Hidden gem in Norwalk. We had a gorgeous table overlooking the stream for Sunday brunch. Our server was amazing and so good to us. We plan to revisit for lunch and also to check out happy hour.

Apps we shared: olives and almonds, mushroom onion, pizza, meatballs, shaved brussels salad (too dry). dinners: pappardelle pasta, sesame tuna salad, chicken Milanese. loved the limoncello and biscotti gratis. Still, I prefer the ambiance at Terra in Danbury more.

This is a local gem in a very cool hotel. The food and wait staff were wonderful. My quality test was the prep and finish in the pork chop. It was perfectly cooked and accompanied by complementary sides which included a fresh cold potato salad and steamed broccoli. Although the sauce was tasty it was unnecessary for my palate. Our starters were also quite good which included the watermelon salad and a roasted crispy Brussels sprouts dish. Yummy. The noise was often a challenge. Between the train speeding through the woods or the overly enthusiastic kids we found ourselves having to raise our voices and sit forward to hear. All in all, the experience and food, I will certainly go back. I thought the windows that open to the outside added great charm. Even with a train screaming past!!

The brunch menu is excellent. The steak and eggs are superb. The steak is like butter. We dine there frequently for dinner, about 2-3 times per month on average. We have always loved the food. Brunch was a new dimension. On a nice day with the windows open to the river, it can be really relaxing. We have yet to take advantage of the continuous drink refills, but it's there for those who want to indulge. It's rare when we have dessert, but my family seems to love the whole range. I myself confine myself to the espresso.

Siena is a true neighborhood gem. Warm, friendly and efficient service and a creative menu with great specials. Everything was well prepared and accompanied by excellent sides. This is a restaurant that we return to again and again by ourselves and with friends.
