Absolutely stellar food and good vibe. I had ribeye steak and eggs which were a huge portion and rivalled most steakhouses I've ever been to. Price is reasonable for the portion and quality you get. My whole table were very happy and sharing parts of our plates. Oh and parking is spacious. It's a gem

I hadn't been to the Silver Star diner in many years but it was a convenient location to meet a friend for lunch. I ordered a Rueben sandwich and my friend had the eggs Benedict. The Rueben came with French fries that were crisp and delicious. I liked that the Rueben was griddled and the dressing was served on the side. My friend liked his order as well. There is plenty of parking and I was surprised to see that the diner was not at all busy for the quality of the food. Our server was super nice.

Staple classic diner of Norwalk. Been coming here for years, never dissapointed. Go to are their shakes, burgers, and soups. Staff is always friendly and accommodating, food at times takes a minute longer than expected to come out but nothing crazy. Aesthetics are cool. Great for a family dinner or a friend group.

We had breakfast for dinner at this sweet spot while traveling through the area. We had the friendliest server and were treated like family. Our food was very good and we got large servings. Their chocolate cake dessert was amazing.

Excellent diner counter service. New York steak and eggs was a bit pricey but well worth it. It was a good size. New York steak, expertly cooked along with over easy eggs and potatoes. Nice large coffee mug. Superbly clean and spacious restaurant. There's a number of stairs to get into the front entrance and I'm not sure if there is alternate means. I will definitely return. The diner was not crowded at 6:30 a.m.

The atmosphere is your typical diner setting. This diner is old and needs to be renovated inside and out. It’s sad to see they are letting it go, since it use to be a staple in the community… c’mon do better !!
The food was not good at all. My friend had a turkey meal which my friend had to send back because she said it was disgusting. They did apologize and offered to get her something else, she is no she wasn’t going to try anything else.
I had the chicken solvoski which I get at every Greek diner. This was the worse. The pita was gummy, the veggie and onions were burnt, and the chicken was bland. Was very disappointed. However, I didn’t send it back because the chicken was edible and I was starving. So I paid for mine.
One positive thing I could say is that the waitress was super nice and very flexible.
Overall Disappointing experience we won’t be returning…
Please do better, you guys use to be the best !!!

While the food is of good quality, they are way overpriced. $20 for a cheeseburger with no fries is outrageous.

Beware!!! Stay away!!!

Charged me $18 for two eggs toast home fries and when I asked why so much they said it’s really $14 the rest is tax but of course nothing is listed on the receipt.
