Properly on the water, casual, good food, super approachable. All in all, nothing not to enjoy about the whole experience.

Been a here a few times recently, the first was Mother’s Day weekend and I had a nice lobster roll that I feel was solid and under 40 bucks. Had other food and it’s been good. Today my wife and I got lobster rolls and were asked “4oz or 8oz”. We went with 8oz, we love a good lobster roll. “MP” on menu obviously. They were fine, it’s mostly claw and shredded meat (no tail). They were SIXTY-TWO dollars each. And they are not that big. Rowayton seafood has a better one basically as big with a better side for 40. You are being cleaned out here.

Also- my kids hot dog meal? I always check when cutting it up and it was ice cold inside. So They deep fry them from frozen, and not correctly. They just deep fried the two long halves I gave back so it was hammered. Last time going here for a while.

Brought my relatives who were visiting from Illinois. We all thought the food was great - oysters on half-shell, lobster rolls....all excellent. Service was prompt and extremely pleasant.

A very nice location for sure. Great place to watch the boats go by. Service was great. Has its own parking lot which is helpful for sono.

Food highs: Calamari and kids meals (fried shrimp kids meal was great)

Food lows: Lobster roll was very small for $37 and also came with potato chips. It should come with fries for that price. Also, fried scallops were bay scallops. This should have been disclosed on the menu, would not have ordered if I knew it was bay scallops.

Great local venue that I have been going to si ce I was a kid. Grew up in Norwalk, and this is a must whenever back in town.
Stuffed claws are a must! Clam Chowder and Lobster rolls are also a must. Outdoor seating on the water is wonderful! Gather with friends and family at this favorite spot!

Clam strip meal cost $24. I asked the server if I could just have an appetizer portion......he said of course. Proceeded to get about 25 clam strips for a discounted price of $22.00. .... for that price, I would have ordered the meal and gotten everything that went with it. Server was friendly, but that was unacceptable. Won't be back

I had the pleasure of dining at Sono Seafood, and from start to finish, everything was phenomenal. The atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant, perfect for a night out or a relaxing meal with friends and family. The menu offers a fantastic variety of fresh, flavorful seafood dishes that are clearly made with care and top-quality ingredients. Every bite was delicious — you can truly taste the difference.

What made the experience even more memorable was our server, Sofia. She was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. She offered great recommendations, made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal, and had such a friendly, genuine energy that really elevated the entire dining experience. It’s rare to come across such top-tier service these days, and Sofia absolutely nailed it.

If you’re looking for a seafood spot that gets everything right — food, ambiance, and service — Sono Seafood is it. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Hi Sean here. Sono seafood has great food. Haven't tried a lot but what I did was delicious. I now live in Colorado for 20 yrs. Will be back out in norwalk this spring/ summer. Colorado lacks the flavor. There's a few restaurants that are ok but just lack the taste and flavor. Maybe Sono seafood can have some of their peoples come out here and show em how it's done. Well, hopefully you'll be open by the time I'm out there to visit. I miss the flavor that's out the...ny, conn, mass, the southern states. Stay strong Sono seafood. Keep up the good taste.

They completely ruined my 68th birthday party !! waiter came out and mentioned that one of the Specials was grilled Swordfish..I ordered that. My fiance ordered Lobster. In the meantime while waiting for our dinners, the water came out and put someone elses Ketchup bottle in front of us..I told waiter that we don't need that...He stated well it looks good there anyway ! Then he put a dead lanter fly on the edge of our table (!) He said to just brush it off ! NOW, dinner arrives, they gave my fiancé a small dried out lobster. Then they gave me the WRONG DINNER. I told him I ordered the 'mentioned' grilled Swordfish special.. He got upset, bright it back in the kitchen. ( now because of the timing of this, that means my fiancé would be finished with her dinner by the time they cooked the Correct dinner !) So 5 minted later, he TRIES to talk me into Eating the wrong dinner ! I said NO I WANT WHAT I ORDERED. HE comes back out and says that they are out of Swordfish ! He said that was one of the Specials when we first got there ! NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN, THEY ARE MYSTERIOUSLY Out of IT ??!!! MY fiancé " wolfed " down the lobster and we left ! Completely Ruing my 68th birthday !!! And it was too late to go to a another More Reputable restaurant ! My fiance got into a big argument over this. she went her way and I went home ! I stayed hungry till next day.. because I had no food in the house. TERRIBLE FOOD, TERRIBLE SERVICE TERRIBLE WAIT STAFF, TERRIBLE EVERYTHING ! AND UT WAS THE LAST NUGHT BEFORE THEY CLOSED FOR THE SEASON..TRIED CALLING MANAGER FOR DAYS AND NI ANSWER ! WENT FOWN THERE NEXT DAY, NO ONE AROUND ! THERE ARE ALOT BETTER SEAFOOD PLACES IN NORWALK_ AND THE NEXT TOWN OVER IS WESTPORT ,(CT) Check the others out, believe me ! thankyou, Wayne Smith of S Norwalk

I recently dined at Sono Seaport, and I must say, the seafood was exceptional! If you're a fan of seafood, this place is a must-try.

The Shrimp Scampi was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked shrimp in a flavorful garlic butter sauce that left me wanting more. The Lobster Roll was another standout; it was incredibly fresh and packed with flavor, making it one of the best I've ever had.

I also enjoyed the French oysters, which were simply delightful and paired perfectly with the garnish of chives.

Overall, great food and a fantastic dining experience. I highly recommend Sono Seaport to anyone looking to indulge in some top-notch seafood!
